Id really really like a go on this! hack together a gp2x demo for us!
actually, im trying to build a raspberry pi handheld that doesnt suffer from all the terrible design choices of everything similar ive so far seen.
its mainly to play LGPT+midi / seq24 + midi ( +street fighter / inkscape the side) Sort of GP2x family meets Neo geo pocket meets sega saturn controller. This would be an excellent addition.
But I have no HDMI monitor and cannot get my Pi to display over composite to put together a protoype as much as I try.
I may have to install debian on a machine and test it oot!
Hows development going?

Topic: pig on Wii via Wii Linux? (1 replies, posted in LittleGPTracker)
Given that Wii can run at least Debian 5 and some version of Xubuntu, would pig work?! We could even potentially plug in midi interfaces via USB!
Anyone tried? Same goes for Ps2 linux, though less likely and much harder to set up.
Excitement

yeah the problem for me is the single save file, its really easy to fuck your song up! on the emulator i repeatedly deleted my sav file to start from fresh.

yo infodrive, il hit you up with some as soon as i get me a TV with a headphone socket..... its a beast. nothing like nanoloop. more like rebirth. the way voices can share channels and having parameter locks ala Elektron gear is incredible.

ever used a neo geo cd pad, or neogeo pad usb (same but usb)? howd they stack up against the NGPC stick?
failing hiring some modder to cut the stick out, i could happily use either a converted to USB NGCD pad or the USB version of it.
My main aim is to use LGPT/ midi to replace my GP2x, but playing cps2 / neo geo games with the stick will be very nice too .

ah no worries. that gravis pad is fucking awesome by the way. il try and find someone who can hit it up but give me a shout as and when you get lasering again to see if I've managed to or not, if you would like to do so. that and a sort of pibow type gaming pi case I've designed. cheers!

Arfink could you please do something similar for me? I intended on finding a replacement and ordering many to make multiple units, but id be very happy with a prototype with an authentic NGP stick. in fact, i think my unit is broken. Its hurts me but at least i wont feel too guilty about the cannabilization now.... Its to be hooked up to a raspberry pi btw... I could hire you to cut the case for me too if youre interested!
