He marked the package as a gift, so I wouldn't need to pay import taxes. wink

Hahaha did I? I usually don't do that, but thanks for the plug! And enjoy your gift! My shop is shop.catskull.net but you can PM me here or email [email protected] if your interested.

Hey guys,

I've just been messing around here with a cheap bluetooth to serial module, trying to add wireless capabilities to the Arduinoboy. I've got it working, but it misses notes if you play too fast. I'm not sure if it's a latency issue or some kind of flow control issue.

Either way, here's a video that explains it more:

For more info, check out my blog post: http://catskull.net/bluetooth-arduinoboy.html

If you'd like to buy an arduinoboy, they're available on my website starting at $16 for a kit. Check it out: shop.catskull.net

Also, the GBA/GBC link ports are now purchasable as a standalone item!

It's all up at catskullelectronics.com

The next batch is in! Finally! Here's what's new in v 1.1.1:
- Added PS/2 jack for LSDJ keyboard input
- Removed screw terminals (nobody used them)
- Replaced MIDI jacks with Jazzmarazz's move versatile footprint
- Move button and status LED to make room for PS/2 jack

There is a bug on the PS/2 jack wiring that requires a tiny little modification. For that reason, the PS/2 jack is only available on fully assembled kits.

The shop pictures are not updated yet, I will add them tomorrow. For now, here's what it looks like:

Let me know if you have any questions!

Also stay tuned for some cool new things coming to the shop!

These guys are based in Spain (I think): http://www.lowtoy.com/portfolio/arduinoboy-shield/

I'm in the US but I can ship you one. Seems shipping is about 13.50 USD standard to most places in the world. I'm out of stock right now, but should have more within the next week. Check it out: shop.catskull.net

Isn't a lot of the music on this site released with a creative commons license? Could you not just take what's out there?

The one guy that sold them stopped selling them. Presumabely because the supply dried up. You can find a non working 101 on ebay for about 15 bucks if you look hard.

I did the mod, but I get wavy lines. I even put a glass screen protector on and everything.

You may have seen this video, but if you haven't you should check it out.

It's a really well done explanation of the Gameboy's basic hardware, and even covers some basic assembly. As someone moderately experienced in programming, I found it really clear and well done.

Check it out!

Dang, I was just about to release Big Daddy Sound Machine tracker for the Genesis. Didn't even think about the abbreviation

Great set!

I'll be at the Provo show. You should get in contact with Conquer Monster. They can help you with the Provo and Salt Lake shows.

BGB. Read the manual. It works with wine on Mac and Linux.

Here's a whole thing where he programs the FPGA, so I guess he released the source if you want to watch the whole video smile

That's so freaking cool. Now we just need someone to do an LSDJ set with it
