This.

I also like Firefox's awesome bar, can we keep that please?

I like IE8, granted it's still behind the rest of the modern browsers, it's somewhat standards compliant and I can live with that.

I feel like it's ridiculous to support an internet browser for over 10 years, specially nowadays where technology is moving so fast and upgrading has become easier/cheaper.

Also, more good news: Firefox is now mobile! http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/mobile/

Battling my hosting company to get it back up. Needs some viagra.

Apparently the datacenter had some outages or whatever, they're looking into it and taking an awful long time to do so.

I'll be switching it to a temp server if it's not back up in the next 72 hours. My website is also down sad

The chipmusic.org login system is on the todo-list after I complete other more important items music-related/IRL.

this isn't what i was thinking of as my amazing design but it was an idea i had,
also i was thinking maybe putting "CHIPMUSIC.ORG" in one of these fancy speech bubbles we have now?

I think it should be the chip bubble. A text bubble doesn't really represent the site as much as the chip bubble would.

What SeanBad said.

Lots of cool images but this forum is to talk about graphics and design. Let's not bring any /b/ into it.

Perhaps start a new thread that doesn't involve 4chan-style random posts?

It's more expensive but I like the balloon in the front, chipmusic.org in the back.

Ubuntu Karmic w/ Firefox 3.0.6 here. Everything works great.

The site looks nice on WebOS as well.

At the moment I'm using Ardour 2.x on OSX coupled with the LADSPA and Apple plugins, Mackie MR-5, Sennheiser HD 25-1 II, and my ears.

The ignore function is already implemented in everyone's brains tongue

Lately what I've been doing is making a sound at the beginning of a track in every channel, and at the end of a track.

Later on after I've recorded each channel separately and am arranging them, I just gotta line up both sounds and the whole track should be in sync.

Also, you don't NEED midi...LSDJs tempo isn't perfect but it's usually ok. I always like to make sure I have fresh batteries when recording a track. I also only record from one specific GB since that one seems to be spot-on handling the tempo.

Post production basic tips: EQ for more bass. Slight reverb. Compression on master track.

I play quite a few video games on live.

@Lazerbeat: Rhythmbox plays SIDs and XMs I believe.

@George: I run a low latency kernels. I think the issue lies with the MacBook, last time I installed Ubuntu on a Mac I noticed the Mac was running hotter than with OSX.

Honestly, I'd prob keep the MacBook with OSX. You do know you can get Ardour and JACK for Mac, right?
