oh hey I've been on this a few times recently... really impressed by the dedication to the greyscale aesthetic, even down to the thumbs for past album covers haha!

also, check out on youtube 'rockman' (i think) type LSDJ to refine results. his stuff is good
My housemate, VJ ZOM-B is desperate for an 8bit gig to vj for in london. He usually VJs on brick lane.
I (well just my parents now) live on the Isle of Man.
Manx cats are pretty rare. Many people put elastic bands around normal cat's tails to make them fall off so they look Manx.
Ah i see a username isn't allowed unless you have over 25 fans. I guess I should actually promote it then,..
WOOOOYAAAAA
USA only is it? that's good

Yeah, you'd think a guy like that could afford a blue or even a white game boy. He's just thrown $1 million at tigers.
He should throw money at Nex to buy his collection and start a museum of gameboys, for preservation purposes.
Incredible. Props! oh and well done on the baby.
I really like 350x350 because that's what Bandcamp uses.
Well accounting for bleed, 4.75in square at 300 dpi is 1425px (bit large), at 72 dpi it's 342px.
So I guess 350px makes the most sense.
That's it!
^^haha, awww.
interesting facts:
1: 'Gravity in terms of space time' is actually one of the best songs ever
2: Flopps' avatar looks alot like a character from the UK skins
3: Hit bands have appeared on skins performing live. Such as the 'band' crystal castles, performing alice practice.
4: Henry Homesweet supposedly played at a Skins promo party. I don't know if that's true though.
True, I suppose it depends on the type of jewel case. Anyway, physical media is dead! (well, kind of).
I was thinking more about the need to display art at 72dpi screen resoloution and therefore how large the cover art would appear on the screen. Just to avoid any aliasing of the edges after resizing.
Anyway, ha no i wouldn't distribute other people's work... Just my own artwork. I create far more images than albums so I thought it would be nice to let people use the pictures for their own music releases if they wish.
I was wondering if anyone knows of an agreed upon chipmusic-wide standard size for album artwork, in pixels.
I mean, 8bp seem to use 461x246 mostly, (front and back), which works for their particular low-res style.
The reason I ask, is that I'm planning on doing a weekly album-cover-art giveaway on my website, and thought some homogeneity would be nice.
