Brilliant! Absolutely beautiful sounds coming out of this thing and well worth the cost of the sample pack. Did anybody happen to notice that the Reason Refill is only $80?

If I read the OP's post correctly, it sounds like he's going to create a beat matched mega mix of all these tracks, not just an archive file of songs. Isn't that interesting enough? Sounds like fun to me.
Audacity should be helpful for adjusting BPM, just be advised that drastic changes in tempo often don't come out as planned.

What's a minor 7th scale?
Wikipedia can explain it better than I can. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minor_major_seventh_chord

I'm in! My style tends to lean towards dark ambient, but just about anything can happen with Subterrestrial. Do you have requirements for length/format/bitrate? Where do we send a completed track?

Hello all. “Insert Coin” is an experimental 8-bit/chiptune tribute to classic arcade games. The EP utilizes samples from WOOLYSS’ Sound of Arcade sample pack exclusively and each track focuses on a specific game. No additional samples or instruments are used. Now available as a free download from 4m@-records. Thanks for listening!

I think that like circuit/data/soft bending, generative music is all about the randomness but there's no denying that there is some musician influence, only in the initiation. Even with field recordings, there's always human initiation in that you decided to press the record button at certain time. The point is that you select an algorithm to write the music instead of yourself or another person.
For my generative music I usually use Tim Thompson's Muse-O-Matic and Gif Jam MIDI algorithms. Anyway, I'm glad to see that this is still on. Where do I send my final track? Any limits on length, file size, etc?

Very interesting, I have a 3.5" floppy of generative chiptune music that is going to be released soon on Diskette Etikette Rekords and I just posted a track from it here in the music section. I would be more than willing to contribute a new, original track to this compilation. Is it still on?
