Re: SteamTracker (31 replies, posted in Graphics, Artwork & Design)
It seems that the program will not save/load/use offsets that are necessary for operation. I tried typing them in and then clicking USE, but when I open the settings again, they are reset to 0. Same if I SAVE and then try to LOAD. Crappy.
I realized you might have committed a common mistake that we all do nowadays, because it worked just fine for me without editing the file.
After you enter the value, you MUST press enter. If you press TAB, thr value is not stored.
I DID have to restart PTPrefs for it to take the values but it worked fine without editing the prefs file.

Re: recommend me the masters of LGPT (55 replies, posted in LittleGPTracker)
any sample based music program can make beautiful music if you choose the right cast of samples and tune them correctly
Sample based music is more complex in this aspect than synthesis. Landing onto the right texture or what you want takes a lot of "sample-digging". It takes more time for me to find the right samples than synthesizing, but the end results are in my opinion a lot better.
I still like synthesis for the basics like a bass sound.
I don't even have a PSP anymore to talk about LGPT anyway ;/ but you can check the one track I released xD

I'll watch it later on mute, the 'song' is horrible but the video seems to be cool.

BeOS is discontinued and probably far more useless than OS9.
If you seriously just gonna use it ONLY as a wordpro, keep OS9.

Yeah it's called "HiRes" in the Amiga world .
16 colors only! Sweet.
I actually like it without copper gradients. I never liked copper backgrounds in games, even less a Workbench!

Nice icons man I totally hate MagicWB palette but you have managed to make a nice theme with it.
What screen format is this running on?
