That thing doesn't have a "videocard", it has a GPU for sure.
Not sure you can fix it with a 520. Someone more knowledgeable in Atari ST will have to answer you!

SCC sounds cool. do you need a special pack to make tunes for SCC?

Just curious tongue

You need to hack an SCC cartridge to use it

I think I want one of those one chip MSXes now, how much do they cost?
Is the FM and SCC emulated or real?

This isn't vapourware one bit. Now if you can afford it, is anotehr question. This will probably enter the rank of "super cool, swedish, almost hand made instruments you will never afford". I still want an Elektron Machinedrum.

It has to be one of the coolest vinyl sleeves among my collection.

I don't know of any tracker that could use an FM-PAC + SCC chip.
POKE, any light shedding for us? Is it possible?

One with the FM thing built in means you have to get an MSX2+ and those are rare (like a Sanyo Wavy FD70, a Sony HB-F1XDJ or a Panasonic FS-A1FX).

It's easier for you to get a normal MSX2 and add the FM-PAC or Moonsound module later!

I think that this thread is just starting to verge on being a console war. This was about the music making aspects. Resume discussing music making like adults.

Not at all, only one troll had brought with him behaviours acceptable somewhere else. The discussion goes on, and this is not a systems war. We are discussing the SNES.

Can we try to stick to replies that last longer than one syllable?
Also, more than one whole page to flame the OP. I think he's pretty burned by now. Lay off the bonfire.

If you only want an MSX computer don't be looking for a Turbo R, you are better looking for a MSX2...
You can get one of the european Phillips MSX2 machines if you live in Europe, for a nice price.
