I actually live in Kampala, so... yeah, the scene doesn't exist at all. I don't think I've ever encountered anyone who even knows what an NES or a Gameboy is.

I wrote a song that was 8:51, but since it was for an ambient project, it's quite minimalist, so I don't think that really counts. As for longest song that's more for listening for rhythm and more common musical elements other than tone and atmosphere, the longest would be 2:36.

I'm Acetantina, and I'm pretty new to chiptune music, for a while now, I've been making VGM covers, but I've been starting to make more original stuff. I use FL Studio and various different VSTs that simulate the 2A03 chip (or if you're like me, and you come from Europe, the 2A07). I'm currently working on an album full of different chiptune songs, so if you're interested, stay tuned for that.
