So... I've always loved the concept behind the "Back to Mine" compilation series.

So often during my rager party years I'd be out from 4pm Saturday arvo until at least midday Sunday with the lads at a gig. It became a ritual after a big night out with the party crew to all head back to someone's house for a recovery session.
No recovery session was complete without turntables, synths, processing racks, monitors and all manner of technological trickery set up on the kitchen table.

Sunday 1pm was deemed acceptable for a gentleman in company of his brethren to observe the time honoured tradition of cooking a full english breakfast after a complete wringer of a night out at a gig.

During these sessions we have one person cranking out tunes with whoever else wasn't DJing at the time preparing a breakfast feast fit for kings.

The role of the DJ was to just lay down some appropriately chilled or funky beats and in 30 minute segments we'd rotate out positions from the breakfast forging stations to the decks.

I'm going to start the ball rolling with this mixtape I recorded this Sunday morning :

The Rules :

• Does not have to be chipmusic

• Must be no longer than 30 minutes in duration

• Does not need to be beatmixed

• Mixtape link must be submitted via PM to me 1 hour prior to posting schedule

• New mix posted every Sunday at 2pm (ADST UTC+11 hours) or 10pm Saturday (New York City - UTC-5 hours)

Have fun with it! Put in tracks that influenced your musical palette, curate a theme for your mix, play songs that inspire you, but most of all just make it characteristically yours.
