Me three!

This just made my day~
the ability to preview notes like in LSDJ without having to play the track.
Awesome! Looking forward to this so hard. Right now I'm emulating my stuff with my PS3 >.< but I'd love to just break out my NES and do it this way.
That's too bad. But at least it was caught in beta. Keep up the good work, I am ready to purchase at least one of these when they're available.
I'm on LSDSNG.com, just don't have anything to upload till I finish my kit.
Seeing lots of interesting ideas here. Thanks guys!
I've been experimenting and playing and toying and listening and trashing and trying, and I am having the hardest time in the world coming up with some original patches. I can't seem to work very effectively from scratch. I'm great at looking at some on the wiki and modifying them to see what happens. But from scratch I'm at a complete loss....it's really driving me crazy.
So the question is, what method do you use to approach creating an instrument patch?
If i'm feeling super dry. I go for a walk at night and start work on a remix. Usually NIN, Daft Punk or Gary Numan. Something crazy.
I've only seen the pictures from StarPilot and videos from DeadBeatBlast, so thanks for this!

I've mostly dealt with battery powered mics when working on musicals; the transmitters for the actors lavalier mics. I indeed use standard non-rechargable batteries for that. But that's mostly to cut down work and expenses.
For consumer, home usage I see no problem using rechargables. But we all have different likings of course.
I can agree with that. ![]()
That's nice. I'll look into that. Restrict my batteries to a live situation only.

Never ever experienced any flakeyness with my rechargable batteries. Most of my batteries are 2700mAh which gives me a good amount of lsdj time.

I get an odd hum when I use my wall wart for my DMG. So I don't. I just buy batteries in bulk from a local pro audio place. I pay like 13 cents on the battery. I'd rather have a fresh pair than deal with flakey rechargables myself.
I just make a song then as soon as I can record it. Sometimes I do it through my monotron for a tiny bit of effects. It must be a real pain in the butt that your songs you were going to use for a concert are destroyed.
I also back up my carts onto my harddrive, after every session. So I have an exact copy of my .sav to be used in an emulator/other cart.
