I have experienced problems with my EMS cart when playing on my gameboy pocket, like wildly changing contrast. But what is concerning me more is the fact that my cart will rarely boot up first go and on some DMG's not at all, on each one im getting the exact same nintendo logo on boot up, assuming this is a problem with the cart itself, can anyone shed any light on this problem?

Ill start out with an idea of the sound i need, EG Bassy kick, snare, crunchy lead synth. If im having trouble pulling my own sound, scour some forum till you can find someones patch setting, try it out, modify it, get an idea of whats happening and how the sound is being created, then try for yourself.
