Bought mine couple weeks ago and just loving it! I'll midi mod it for sure though really soon but even as noise / effect sound unit its pretty banging. Drums suck balls unless you're into really lo-fi acid techno. I'll probably decay mod kick and snare along the midi. Sync worked well with click track but then you have to really rehearse your stuff. It doesnt reset the step sequencer to beginning when you stop click track which is kinda confusing at least for me.

Game Design through lenses is a good book on that

kKay, i guess you could go with the Easy-to-use Stuff, like http://www.thegamecreators.com/ , http://www.rpgmakerweb.com/ or http://www.yoyogames.com/gamemaker/studio

These are Okay if you don't want to get into real deplovemnt (Whatever somebody consider as real).

For example Hotline Miami which is one of the top rated indie games this year was made with Game Maker. They've made pretty good amount of money with it too I think, so I think its "real", as in fun, well rated game experience and as a bonus its been profitable for the creators.

DKSTR - I would love to add an MPC into the mix, but it's a little too pricy for me to scoop up anytime soon. Maybe if I save hard till christmas :-P Are the entry level MPCs (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/keyboard … c=3WWRWXGP) worth picking up, or am I better off saving for something better?

Thing you linked is just a controller, but if you prefer using laptop I guess MPD is fine for controlling.

I used to have MPC500 which was awesome for live use and you can get used pretty cheap. I bought later on a beat up 1000 from friend, fixed it and I love it even more. But 500 is great machine, runs from batteries too.

How I got my baby (almost, there was a temp paintjob by previous owner)

How it looks now:

Still needs a proper decals, wooden ends and small fix / gloss to top of it.

Aside cosmetic changes;
Upgraded pad PCB, thicker black pads (super sensitive now!), jog wheel changed from old one that didnt click.

Modest bump;

Its on Soundcloud now too if you're more in to that kind of thing:

Its been listened/downloaded quite nicely this far, thanks for all!

Recording process was something new for me, I used lots of Nanostudio App with Synthstation controller to write the skeleton of the songs, then added some Microkorg and Chipsounds magic to it. Im 6500km away from my home / most of my equipment so this forced me to do things little differently.

Thanks duder br0s! DL it! Free downloads left still:)

Hahah:) The videos or Bandcamp? Videos actually have slightly different mixes. Im dealing with some extreme conditions far away from home so studio is what it is.

Also, there are two amazing music videos:

Northern Exposure (directed by Aleksi Hyvönen)
https://vimeo.com/53119574

Only Life U Know (directed by SELLEKHANKS)
https://vimeo.com/53119812

Mods: Can I get these embedded here somehow?

1. Only Life U Know
2. Northern Exposure
3. Human Engineering
4. Dry Ice

Download it (pay what you want, 0 iz ok if you're broke like me)
