Hey all.

In a similar vein to Nordloef, I'm just writing this thread to let you know that I'm going to be in NYC on the 28th and 29th of March. If anyone wants to hang out, show me around, or even better - invite me to play a show, I'd be over the moon!

Thanks

Cheaps

Wicked! Looks like this is gonna be a good party. Shame I'm not gonna be down in Kyoto to see it sad

Hi!
Since the Blip lineup not including the rave Japanese artists as:
USK / MARU / NNNNNNNNNN / 99LETTERS / BSK ... to name a few.
Then will be any pre or after parties including these guys in the lineup please?
I mean what's the point of paying 1,300$-1,600$ just for the flight and not hear and see the real Japanese Gameboy RAVE heroes.

Lucky that Blip got Xinon in the lineup otherwise I was sad hmm

Please don't misunderstand me,
Blip got a really sweet lineup with good global artists that I do love and some interesting new names that I will like to see, all this if it was in the US/Europe,
but as a raver if you are coming all the way to Japan then you probably want to hear the local rave guys!
So please let me know if they are going to play in the pre/after parties or anywhere else during the Blip week.

Thanks and have a chip weekend smile

BTW: If you know about any other chip event in Japan that may be more fit for my raving taste, then I will love if you will please contact me and let me know by sending me a PM or on facebook. (not in this topic)
since I'm new and not familiar with this scene events, thanks wink

Some of these guys may be involved in certain pre- and post-parties.... maybe... wink

Compared to LSDJ, the tracks I've made so far are like you mentioned: samey. But I haven't got into using the song editor screen much yet.

I use a DS Lite too, and I love it. The sound is perfect, it has two backlit (frontlit, no idea..) screens and despite it's size it's still portable. Mine after 4 years of heavy use still has awesome batterylife. And the best part about Nanoloop 2.5 is that you actually only need one cart to make seamless mixes!
The only annoying thing about using a DS Lite with Nanoloop 2.5, is the cart sticking out.

But yeah, I'd say go for the DS Lite.

Offtopic: so that means you'll start writing some awesome Dubtunes on Nanoloop 2? big_smile

no dub tunes right now, but definitely something that I'm liking. I'll share soon!

Banks for the advice guys. Really appreciate it.

Regarding the lite, I have one and really like the sound. I just don't like taking my DS lite around with me. But for performance I'll probably go with it!

Greetings all!

I've just started playing around with nanoloop and am really enjoying it so far. Just got a few questions about the best set up / sound possible.

I'm running nanoloop 2.5 on an GBA SP (101 backlit version) at the moment but am interested in forking out for a micro if there are any benefits in doing so.

So yeah, let me know what you think regarding portability, sound quality, ease of use etc.

Cheers!

Come on over! The more the merrier!

Some clips from last year's after party:

Yeah, looking forward to playing this! Artwork is great. Let's hope the gameplay is as good!

It could be because I was playing back through an SP which is renowned for it's less than perfect production of kits. (Right?)

Oi oi!

Been working on a remix EP with the great ???. The EP features two original tracks (one each) and a remix each. Again, soooooo pleased to work with THE greatest chiptuner out there right now (IMHO anyway).

Tracklisting:
