DAT JAWN WAS CRAZY

So honored to even be in the fucking mile vicinity of this awesome night. From the Open Mic, to the alumni showcase, to the shows, to the goddamn ridiculous visual team, we did it. This was a night that showed that when we want to, people in this scene can really fucking unite.

Also, I just wish that I had access to an unlimited amount of traditional instruments and recording space where I could orchestrate Spaghetti Western-style music for the rest of my life.

I'm serious.

For me, it's never a problem of writing a song but a matter of conveying the right feeling. It has to be genuinely convincing. I've axed countless of good songs of shelved them for later for something as simple as they never had a place. But when it all sorts itself out and you have no regrets behind it, that's when the feeling starts to take form.

sent you a pm!

I remember the first time I heard actual "jazz" in a game was this hilariously bad rendition of "Take Five" used as the main title theme for the NES port of "Chessmaster" (which I can still pwn at, btw)

What about Jazz Blues?

Powerpak!

NSF import on famitracker doesn't create the instruments, instead uses a high tempo/speed combination and basically re-tracks the whole song using track command effects. Some people might not like it, but I think it's awesome!
