i have used many other trackers but i could NOT get myself into this one, really! the interface sucks, somehow

which is a shame because nothing else has that "DAW feel". but oh well

Have you used noisetrekker or protrekker? i hear they were what renoise was built off of. Noisetrekker looks kinda cool with the native 303s

use a D command on my following bass note to get the entire kick to ring out.

I do this with sample kicks when I use them. Lets the sample decay go a little longer. Usually do it during a groove 3/3 and the the bass note is delayed at D02. Someone called me out because that means the bass note is only one tick behind what it would normally be in groove 6/6, but I must be insane because that single tick makes all the difference to me

I KNEW I HEARD THAT SONG (back to room 2) BEFORE, THAT EXPLAINS IT CUZ I WAS THERE AND SUCH

i don't even

J. Arthur. Mangs.

I actually think this is a pretty cool and logical idea, though I don't see it being implemented anytime soon. For full effect for me it would have to have things like meter feedback and sends, hence why people like herr_prof said it's mostly for non-chip trackers. It could be cool for playing live with Solo/Mute, but would probably be annoying with the button layout and not being able to, you know, touch the faders. But still, it would be a nice overall setup for soundchecks!

Renoise has this exact thing: A master fader for all channels in a Mixer Screen. When that was introduced, people didn't all say "omg you have instrument volumes/volume commands/rtfm," they just...used it

I've been finding I get more control on that low knob when I use smoother waveforms. Still, it's sorta odd that a sharper WAV won't reach that point... O_o
Still, it's nice to see that I can now achieve a better mix live.

CURTIS.

The simpler the waveform the stronger the perceived bass, too

KiGB is great

Ableton

This is my favorite thing you've ever done, easily. The chord changes really remind me of Paul McCartney's more theatric songs during the tail-end of The Beatles. You also sound really comfortable singing in this style and it really makes for a great vocal performance, too.

LSDJ a la mode?

That video of the LSDJ workshop he did changes everything, IMO

Roboctopus of noise channel had a great blog text thing going at one point

though it looks like you're going for mostly text-based stuff
