I have some patches I'm going to submit soon, love the site.

Good year to start really doing chip,
3 releases,
couple gigs,
hanging out with spamtron and plain flavored among others.

Good year.

Neat, I like it.
Maybe bring the vocals up a little bit, but I really liked it.

I used this live in a open mic at a coffee shop, and everyone cheered after it.
Awesome work man.

It constantly bums me out that the ZX Spectrum wasn't released in the US sad  Its so much hassle to get one to work here.

Written for the ZX Spectrum, in the limitations of this machine some of Dos's best melodies and moments in chiptune were created. From melodic ballads to fast paced battles and glitch, all you need is 1 bit.
I've put a ton of time into this release,  I really hope you guys enjoy it.

Tracks:
Intro: Rise from Your Grave
Born from Ruin
Within these Dark Walls
The Final
A Dying Witch
The Final (ΩMEGA REMIX)

It really depends, I've had both extremes.
People in my Electronic music class thought it was the coolest thing ever, and wanted me to explain how they can get lsdj on a flashcart and stuff...
Most the time people get shocked i'm writing music on a game console.  They don't react this way If I bring up the commodore 64 rather than GB though.
I've also met plenty of people who don't think its music, or are agitated by the tones, or ones that wouldn't let me play at their open mics. Etc.

I use Trippy-H only for its sound effects live, sometimes sound effect 3 will add some punch to the kick for songs, and i believe its 5 and 6 (which ever ones are pitch bends) are good for drops etc.
If you want to make it a better bass, maybe hook it up to a distortion pedal or multiprocessor (or even to some sort of midi device)?  I can make the organ sound on my SK-1 sound like an epic sawtooth bass with some fuzz and distortion.

I use Trippy H or Digitech Whammy to manipulate and add to the mix.
You could try adding some keys.
