Topic: The chillest of the chill (4 replies, posted in General Discussion)
So many members seemed to enjoy posting in my last thread about progressive tunes so how about some chill tunes this time?
Let's hear some of your favorite low key, head lightly bobbing, driving on a sunny day on your day off chips.

Except for the fact we don't have signatures here.
....well played.

I am so tempted to add this to my signature.
Well we all know I couldn't add it to mine since I said it. Would be in bad taste
Thanks for stroking my comedy ego
[edit] Also after reading Scoobycore (lol'd) the first think that popped into my head was: "roooby rooooobyy R-HUGE MOTHERFUCKING DUBSTEP DROP INTERRUPTION" which would have to be in every song regardless of subgenre for the sole reason of lawlz.

Since you'd be revolutionizing this music scene I'll help you the important task of your album art. I found this:

I've been wanting to slap my dick on that hot tang since I grew pubes.
I'm sorry it's not related to the original question, but holy mother of god I just lol'd like a mothabitch. Thank you for that.

I mean...the actual step by step instructions would probably help those people who have no idea/skills whatsoever with creating chipmusic, but just the way it comes off is so funny.
'Do this! Now do that! Now do this other thing, but actually do ANOTHER other thing! Now make sure all the notes you use are = 3(mod 8) or else they play dog noises!'
PS: ... exaggeration makes everything funnier

ALSO...when using LSDJ on your Gameboy rom for your Wii Emulator on your mac while standing 15 miles away relaying morse code to a gypsy who inputs your commands...make sure you tell them to use ONLY the note C-5 and NOTHING else. (Note: I say this only as a formality since LSDJ has a built in safety algorithm which automatically changes all notes in every channel to C-5)

EVERYTHING must be fucking FAST sweeping arpeggios at generally 120bpm...NO FUCK THAT 200bpm and ONLY 200bpm. And bitch I better not hear you using any CHORD nonsense or I'll straight up smack your face off. Back those ballin' melodies with BASIC percussion Don't you DARE get crazy with that shit, I mean BASIC, son...use ONLY a snare on AT MOST the downbeat of each fast motherfucking measure. I also want to hear as much DELAY as you possibly can...I mean I want to slam that play button down, hear one of those kickin' nasty arps, close out of the program and then hear that shit in my MIND a week later. Finally, are you using anything other than a 4/4 time signature? Cut that shit out. Only 4/4 works and you better try as hard as you fucking can to remember that.

Considering my submission to the first competition was really rushed...I ended up spending more time and actually finishing it. Anyone who even remotely enjoyed it should check it out: http://chipmusic.org/8-bit-rex/music/interrupt
Lemme know what you think. Good luck with the next competition...I won't be entering but will definitely be keeping an eye on it!

One of the first chips I heard was by him which helped me get into this whole scene...I thought he was one of the big-guys around here at first. Crazy shit.
