I think a big part of why metal is cool is the interplay of dynamics, and your tracks are kinda vanilla in that regard. Check out Nestmetal or Nestrogen or Heosphoros for dudes who are heavy AND 8bit. Nice song selection though!

If we are still stuck with Barbershop almost 100 years later, chiptune will be just fine.

I was using a patched version of the latest midi rom. Ill send it to you via email, thanks for looking.

Im trying to patch a rom but it keeps telling me no spaces for kits are available. I dont see the ability to clear a kit in the patcher tool, and it doesn't help deleting all the samples and renaming the kit to blank... any ideas?

so if you use littlefm, it has 8 sram banks, and you can have 32 projects per save (depending on the size of your stuff that is) so 256 very simple songs?

As for kits, you have the 16 stock which you can keep or not, 1 you need to leave blank for littlefm, so if you delete everything, you can have 2.8 seconds times 50 banks, or 2 mins 33 seconds of samples at 11468 Hz. Anybody want to correct that?

Ive defended the whole perception as chiptune as pitchforks against non-scene musicans while coddling unlistenable amateurs up to this point, but all the reaction to this guy really reeks of sour grapes.

The major problem I had with mine, and the reason i sold it was that he wouldnt provide a signed driver so it became very difficult to run on Windows 7. If you dont mind hacking your windows 7 to run unsigned drivers it worked pretty well, but because it is a VST you might have trouble in modern DAWS and its no longer supported.
