well if you listened to 100% of the music that came out in 1996 id bet you say it all sounds the same. Id cherry pick the artists you like out of the hvsc and only listen to them.

Thanks for the tip, i found an upgraded version in the forum:

Works now!

I see most of my comments will be for stuff that is already on the todo, but ill just quietly enjoy the builds until its more usable. good work!

Is there any gui indication that playback is working? I crash everytime i try to go into the instrument edit screen.

I would also suggest that by default a new instrument is set to a INIT sound that plays something, and you can tweak from there.

I cant get any sound to play in pico drive on the caanoo. Start doesnt seem to work. When I navigate i get crashes as well sometimes. +1 for ditching flat notes.

this is phenomenal. TCTD memorial album of the year candidate for sure.

There are lots of great musicians with shitty taste. Look at modern prog for example.

usually in-house production tools like midi squencers, trackers, or fancy dancy machine code. LSDJ is not optimized for game soundtrack work because it tends to use all the CPU. There are better tools for that like MML or carillion.
