If you did that wouldn't you have to completely open up the gameboy just to change batteries?

EDIT:  Unless you used rechargeables and somehow also fit a charger in there...

is all I can think of while reading this thread.

I'm almost certain I don't.  sad  I sold mine quite a while ago.  I'll search when I get home tonight though, fingers crossed!

This probably won't help you, but:  I've cot a custom firmware psp with piggy already on it that I'd gladly trade for a Gamecube with Gameboy player.  hmm

Thread is tl;dr, but I'm sure it's nothing but elitist h8.

I have a blackened death metal/deathcore project with a buddy of mine that's just LSDJ + vocals, it's pretty cool imo.
We were recording an album (just needed to record vocals) but he's been in jail for a couple months, and I'm not sure when he's getting out sad
But yeah, I'd say Nintendocore is pretty dead now.

Our page, for anyone interested... (Shameless self plug? Damn right.)

Off topic, but, get at me when you start making some more progress on this.  Or if you decide you'd like to try and finish it up with a different vocalist I could help with that as well.

the email they sent me was awesome

Most esteemed Saskrotch, I hope you won't mind, but I took advantage of your ROM when you weren't looking, modified some low level configuration details with a bit of assembly language fu, blew on the slot, and slapped the cartridge back in. The result? Your account can now feature bonus download items of any format. This includes, but is not limited to, .lsdng, .sav, and .vgm.

Cheers!
Ryan

Haha, sweet.  It looks like "Ryan" is our guy.  I checked my emails on the subject and turns out he's the guy that hooked me up as well.  smile

Hey Arnie,

I just enabled all manner of bonus download item filetypes for your account.

Solarbear makes dreams come true.  big_smile

I have a generative house music program on my Amiga but I can't remember the name of it.  sad  Akira would probably know.  It works impressively well LOL.

Would a series of live clips with text be sufficient?  Or does it need to be a "talking to the camera" type of deal?

Not sure, but Kickstarter School says this:

"If you’re like us, the first thing you do when visiting a project page is click play. A video is by far the best way to get a feel for the emotions, motivations, and character of a project. It’s a demonstration of effort and a good predictor of success. Projects with videos succeed at a much higher rate than those without (50% vs. 30%).

We know that making a video can be intimidating. Not many of us like being in front of a camera. We also know that making a video is a challenge worth taking on. It says you care enough about what you’re doing to put yourself out there. It's a small risk with a big reward."

UPDATE:  NOW WITH AWESOME VIDEO AND AN ADDITIONAL INCENTIVE LEVEL.  CHK DIS OUT!!!

but we still want .tg and .sav, having .gp5 or .mid/.midi isn't enough for us

because we're worth it, dammit

Totally agree.  All they really need to do is just give everyone permission to have .zip as bonus item.  SOLVED.

Nerd Rock glasses, also known as GLASSES.

Me, Rivers Cuomo, and Drew Carey thank you.

To be fair they already allow some chip file types:

"What file types can I include as bonus items in an album download?
The usual: png, jpg, gif, pdf, doc, docx, txt, ppt, pptx, mp4, m4v, m4r, mov, wmv, avi, mpg, mpeg, swf, flv, torrent, cue, afm, amxd, otf, sib, ptb, mid, midi, gp5, fxp, fxb, vst, mod, it, xm, mtm, nsf and ttf. Most music file types are deliberately not included."

egr used RAISE

Does the gbplayer give you "extra processing power" like an SP or Color does?

I don't think you are as perceptive as you think you are.

LOL the word is "prescription" not "perscription" big_smile  I make that mistake all the time.
