That's some heavy vibes. But, I honestly feel that chip stuff is returning to it's stable level. With social media kinda going out of style I expect more interactions on here and other similar sites.

Hey, nitro! I've been off Facebook for quite a while and miss keeping up with your projects. Is there somewhere you typically share stuff?

That's definitely something you should share with Johan. The email for lsdj related stuff is: info at littlesounddj dot com

Hey, it's great to see you again Neil! smile  Gonna look into this PayPal coffee, you definitely deserve it!

Editing to ask if dutycyclegenerator may come back?

Duty Cycle Generator, the website, as it existed: no, although I have ported that and nes-audio.com to here for the time being:

Oh yeah I'm checking this out. Love electronic dub!

Not gonna click, is it still a diy music community?

Edit - nvrmd, it's crowdfunding for a handheld linux pc

Sounds like a really loud pulse kick. Use P commands, not sweep and use a high octave note.

What gatekeeping?

Also, aside from background music in children's TV shows and game soundtracks, chipmusic has essentially gone back underground. The difference between the 8BC in its heyday and this place now is immense. I've been writing chipmusic for 12 years. It's not popular anymore, but that doesn't mean the music itself has to suffer.

Ah OK, good to know, is there a brand and/or model you would recommend?

I use an Altane but they aren't available anymore (maybe coming back?). I recommend looking into bennvenn's flashers but I think he's currently sold out as well.

Edit - looks like Altane is available afterall https://www.retromodding.com/products/altane

You might want to get a USB cart flasher that supports ems. I have 2 ems that won't work with their own USB but work fine plugged into my flasher.
