Good effort but are you running this through an emulator on, like, a Nokia 3210? You are getting crazy amounts of lag which makes it pretty much unlistenable imo.

Blasterhead !!!

You music be using some magics because WAV volume doesn't go above three.

Also, as said before, E commands - use em well.

Also, apparently all Diplo's side projects sound exactly the same now.

It started off really fast (R01), but slowed seperate from the global tempo. I understand that a lot of the 808 hats were emulated in various DAW's, so it wuld be pretty easy to isolate the tempo to a track and just roll with it on a trigger command.

Is just changing the Rxx command values in sequence not slowing the roll down smoothly enough for you? Dxx will only delay your roll, so you won't get the slow down. But I guess by combining a stupid number of Dxx and Rxx with value changes, you could get a totally smooth roll slow-down.

For fun, try rolling KIT hats and changing the PITCH in instrument.

Btw, trap is not a fucking genre, these hat rolls you're talking about have been around forever now

Dirty south hats anyone? I'm glad at least someone else here has heard of Juvenile.

Oh I was totally kidding but that is a good piece of trivia.

Decktonic, here's an example - tons a different rolls. Triplets, 16, 32, wuteva. Rxx erverywurrr.

I'm still waiting for someone to answer my question sad

It's not usually 1/32. Too fast. Well, sometimes. I would say it varies wildly but often they use triplets.

And chunter nailed it - it's all just Master P... but without any instrumentation - and everyone's flow is exactly the same - and if you don't mention purple drink, I mean drank, you aren't trap.

Just play with Rxx command. It's just a hi-hat roll.

I'm fucking already tired of trap, not gonna lie. It's like they are taking everything Cash Money Records made in the 90s and early 00s, slowing it down by like 20 bpm, removing any character at all and releasing it. /rant
