I recently built an arduinoboy by following trash80s schematic and im having some problems. im trying to sync a microkorg with LSDJ via the arduinoboy, but when I press start on the sequencer it says "too busy" at the top of the screen. What does this mean??? I had it working earlier where i could put the LSDJ in slave mode and control it with the keyboard, but all i could do was change the tempo. Now it wont even let me do that. the arduinoboys leds flash in the right patterns and everything and when i turn on the microkorg the midi led flashes and when i press a key on the keyboard the light flashes as well as if i press start on the gameboy. Can someone please help me????? Ive been working on this thing for quite a while now and I'd really like to get it up and running.

Wuuuut?  I'm not trying to flame or anything...but really...all your threads up here are asking for a ridiculously high price.  I know you're also looking to trade, but seriously...i'm pretty sure most who visit will think you want to trade for a Batmobile or something of equal value after reading your high asking price.

Also...posting videos of them half finished is not the best of ideas.

I would definitely consider lowering the price as well as tolerating/ignoring/taking a hint from possible flames from people well known around here.

trust me I know how ridiculous my prices are, I really want to trade for all of my items but I was told by an admin to list a price and to be honest I had (and still dont have) any idea on how much I should charge for my modded gb's.

Can I just change it to simply "For Trade Only" or do I have to list a price? I'd really rather just trade it.

sorry for the sarcasm..... i spend hours to  days on my mods and take pride in them so it offends me to see such a lazy job being potentially sold at such a high price to someone who could use the money to learn to use a dremel and soldering iron on their own

I have spent hours upon hours upon hours working on this gameboy (do you know how hard and how long it takes to make a hole in a gb with a little tiny carving knife???), so don't fucking call me lazy. And like I have already said YOU CAN TRADE.

To be honest I'm really looking to trade for other chiptune items rather than to sell but I've been told I have to include some sort of price. I based my price off of all the cost for parts, the long hours I've spent working on it, and by what I've seen similar items sell for on ebay and other websites. If you don't like the price YOU CAN TRADE. I'm not looking to make any enemies here but it pisses me off that someone would just purposely try to sabotage me.

I have a red Gameboy Pocket up for trade with the following modifications:

-Prosound Original Headphone Jack
-Yellow Backlight
-Green power LED
-Variable Clock Control Knob

I'm looking to get a good trade (I'm looking to trade ANYTHING, and I mean ANYTHING used to make chiptune music) but I will sell it for $150 (yes, I KNOW THIS IS A RIDICULOUS PRICE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMIND ME, I AM LOOKING TO TRADE, IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO TRADE YOU CAN EITHER PAY MY RIDICULOUS PRICE OR NOT GET THE GB) I will include an AC adapter with the GameBoy. I live in the U.S. and I prefer only U.S. offers but will consider foreign offers.

Yes I know I desperately need a dremel, I'm asking for so much because I personally have never seen a GBC with all of those mods crammed into it, and like I said before the video is not of the completed gameboy

I used a carving knife, sorry about it looking a little frankenstein-ish but I will post photos of the finished product asap and it will look a lot better.

I have a Gameboy Color (pink) that has the following mods up for trade:

-ProSound Original Headphone Jack
-ProSound RCA Outputs
-Internal PS/2 Keyboard Jack
-Replaced original red power LED with orange LED

I am also in the process of adding the following mods:

-Variable Clock Speed Knob (Pitch Control)
-Front Light for Screen
-Custom Paint Job (at buyer/traders request)

I am looking to get a good trade (I am looking to trade for ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING used to make chiptune music) but I will be willing to sell it for $185 (yes, I KNOW THIS IS A RIDICULOUS PRICE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO REMIND ME, I AM LOOKING TO TRADE, IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO TRADE YOU CAN EITHER PAY MY RIDICULOUS PRICE OR NOT GET THE GB). I live in the U.S. and prefer U.S. offers but will consider foreign offers. I can be reached here on chipmusic.org or at [email protected]

Here's a test video for the internal ps/2 keyboard jack, you can also see the RCA outputs, orange LED, and hole in front where the knob for the variable clock speed will go,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KUr4SzxZ6xg

AND KEEP IN MIND THAT THE VIDEO IS NOT OF THE FINISHED GAMEBOY.

I have 3 modified GameBoys up for trade/sell.

I have a grey GB DMG with the following mods:

-Yellow Backlight
-ProSound Original 1/8" Headphone Jack
-RCA ProSound Outputs
-1/4" ProSound Output
-Internal PS/2 Keyboard Jack
-Precision Clock Control Knob
-Mute Switch (Only Works With Headphone Jack, Does Not Affect Other Jacks)
-Green Power LED
-Switch For Turning Backlight On/Off

I have a pink GB Color with the following mods:

-Frontlight
-ProSound Original 1/8" Headphone Jack
-RCA ProSound Outputs
-Internal PS/2 Keyboard Jack
-Precision Clock Control Knob
-Orange Power LED

I have a red GB Pocket with the following mods:

-Yellow Backlight
-ProSound Original 1/8" Headphone Jack
-Precision Clock Control Knob
-Green Power LED

I'm mainly looking to trade these items but I will gladly sell. I'm looking for ANY items used to make chiptune music (LSDJ, Nanoloop, Mssiah, Midines, etc.) whether it be hardware/systems or carts/programs. I'm also looking for other GameBoys that haven't been modified or only little modification done. After doing quite a bit of research I have lowered my ridiculous prices. If you would like to buy the GB's I will sell them for the following prices:

-GameBoy DMG (grey) - $200
-GameBoy Color (pink) - $165
-GameBoy Pocket (red) - $145

I'm trying to keep my prices reasonable so I don't continue to piss people off on these forums, but please keep in mind that I'm really looking to trade these items, not make money. I put a ton of effort and time into these GB's and they mean a lot to me because they took so long to modify. For trades I do not necessarily require items of equivalent value for the selling prices, I just require that they be worth trading for the GB's. Just contact me here or send me an email at [email protected] if you're interested.

I will post high quality pictures once I find my camera hmm

I'm looking to buy or trade for any fully functional Commodore 64 or 64c systems and SID chips for both models. I have have a variety of items I would be happy to trade (commodore items, modded gameboys, etc.) or I can just straight up buy. I live in the U.S. (Texas) and I'd prefer someone that can ship from the U.S.

Thanks.

How did I not? I changed everything from trade/sell to simply trade.

Prices are required.
Also would be nice if you said where you live.

Ok I think I fixed everything this time, I put a price and put where I live. Am I good now?
