Imagine living in Fargo, ND.

I don't know.  That's awful steep.

I agree with an0va, TheFly.  This style was fun and different, and it was cool to hear what others came up with.

I think you should, man.  Your track was impressive!

Here is a new link to my song.

Here's another, just in case.

I can send it to you in an email as well if you'd like.

Please let me know if you got the song in time.

Here's my submission.  This was a fun challenge!  The song starts out slow and moves into a full gallop by the end.  The main chorus is almost exactly 30 seconds.  I hope you enjoy it!

Do you have a rundown of when the events in the video happen?  Also, what is the run time?  Or doesn't it matter if they match up perfectly?

This has been enlightening.  Thanks for doing all that research Danimal Cannon!

Tilting the screen might be cool, but I just measured and the best you would get is 10 degrees either way.  Would require considerable more expense too.  Is 10 degrees worth the extra cost?

Maybe video out is a better option?

I think I'd like video out better cuz you could have as big a screen as you want and you could put it anywhere.

or put two swivle points on the sides of the screen so you could tilt it, like a mirror.  you'd need to reinforce your solder joint but it should be very manageable.  put two stopper in there so you can only tilt it so much.  that might be a workaround...

That's what I meant to say by tilt up or down, but not so well as you said it.  I don't understand as much about how to put it together.  It's great to hear that would be a feasible option.  A swivel screen would certainly be a nice feature.  smile

@DSC  Another option, not to sure of the difficulty, could be to have the top PCB and screen sit at an angle as opposed to being flush with the front of the rack. I mean, just thinking about how high most rack mounts are or can be at a gig it might be easier for the screen to be at a slight tilt. This could also help with keeping it in a 2U rack.

Yet if you think how low racks can be at a studio, it wouldn't be good if the screen was at a permanent tilt downward.  Maybe there could be a tilt option to tilt up or down.  Or even a video out for a breakout screen?

You won't lose the bass.  Don't set the release super high and it'll just let the kick ride above everything and give the song a cool pulsating feel.

I love that you seem excited about this, Nex.  Just having you interested means so many things for this project that I can't even fathom.

Boot camp Windows and use that.  That's what I did tongue
