poisoncut: That's a good idea. Accidentally stumbling across something you like!
Grubznug: Wow, I never thought of that. Like your own personal library of instruments. That's really cool, I'm gonna use that idea!

Oh man, you should probably stop doing that haha. I'm sure you lose a lot of cool stuff.
I'd like to see those screenshots.

Let me know what you think of this and how it can be improved. I did this with just the WAV channel in LSDJ. Also, I accidentally made catstep by putting a cat sample in there. Didn't know it was on the animals kit.
Just a little bit of mastering in FL studio!
Andrew: That's a good idea, I tried that and I actually wound up finishing one I started a while ago. I saw a file called "DIRTAY"
4mat: I guess that's one thing you could do.
Misfit: Haha, that's not a bad idea. I actually did that today before you said that. I did a short house loop with some funny samples in there.
chunter: Same thing I did haha
Tunners: Thanks for the advice man, that really worked out for me today!
PULSELOOPER: Jeeze, that's a really hardcore way to write music I'm sure that'll wind up being a good piece of advice if I ever hear back from Target.
Saskrotch: That's a really really really good idea actually. Never thought of that! Looks like I'm covering some of your stuff soon
Thanks to everyone that posted!
At some point, everyone gets writers block, and no matter what they do, they just can't get anything out of their brain that sounds good. Unfortunately, I seem to be stuck in that position. I have no idea what I'm gonna do to get out of it.
What are some of your "evasive maneuvers" to get around writers block? Let's see some techniques that both others and I can use!
Awesome! How'd you write that?
Thanks for adding my EP, whoever that was! I was just about to add it unil I saw someone already did. Made me feel warm inside.

Hello everyone -
I'm proud to announce the release of my second EP, Liquid. It's not 8 bit, but it sure is cool and I have no idea where else I'm gonna tell anyone about it!
It's on my bandcamp, frostbyte1.bandcamp.com.
It's an experimental album based around life and how it works, using sounds from Otomata.
Imagine hang drums + bass and break drums. Really, take a listen to it. It makes such a crazy atmosphere.
That's an awesome picture, e.s.c.
That's really interesting boomlinde. Never heard of it! Haha, but I'm pretty sure that's not me because I've been able to see sounds as far back as I could remember.
Either way, that doesn't surprise me. You condition your brain to think a certain way in a game, and when a situation relevant to that game presents itself to you in your life, your brain should revert to that conditioned action.
Yup, same thing then.
Like, in your head or in your "eyeball" vision?
Car-Jack by Electric Children
(All EC and FighterX drama aside...the first syncopated bit in there makes me want to stomp on a car hood)
What drama? I must have missed this haha.
I freaking love his music, I think my favorite chiptune of his is Electric Children Sucks.
But for all time? Saskrotch - Warming Up...the first one I ever heard and the first one to make me cry tears of bloody happiness.
