Hello to everyone.

I have a problem with my ARDUINOBOY in midi out. It's work at home but when i do live with "?instable?" electricity wiriness i have some glitch, lose note or hang on a note. it is difficult to explain, because I use google translate :s

I have the last lsdj rom arduinoboy: 4.10
I use a external power supply in 9V ( i try several)
And on midi in i have : tr-505, doepfer dark energy, dave smith evolver and modular synth with midi in.

UP UP !!!info from firestARTer!! :
"OK,i got the CAANOO here and get Midi-Output. I have to test if the latencies
are fine, but it looks good so far.
One thing is that it seems that GPH removed the power-pins from the EXT port
which means that we would need to get power from the USB port next to it.
So a splitter cable would be needed between the EXT-PORT and the USB-Port to get
the old Midi-Interface running. Also the pinout of the EXT port is different so
some pins from the old midi-interface have to be changed.
I will check on the latencies and put the plans online.
Next will be the USB-Only tests then..."

I think i found my mistake, i'll try tonight.

On the firestarter they use 21/22/23/24 pin
On the kitch-bent(logan) use 1/2/3/4 pin...

I think there is an inversion, The right it's for gp2x pin: 21 power / 23 TX / 22 RX / 21 ground
And for caanoo Pin 4 or 5 for power / 13 RX / 14 TX / 12 or 19 Ground

See you smile

Hello, i'm new here.
I bought one caanoo for use with caanoo piggy tracker and I also bought the piggy to MIDI.(from kitch-bent)
I know it's for Gp2x and not for caanoo, but Thomas from firestarter say to me:

"I am not programming chips anymore, but there you can get one for sure. I sent marc a explanation of how the canoo could be connected. Though, i didn't test it and it is something you should try out. So i give no no guarantees that it works or that you kill your caanoo. Though, technically it is the same like the gp2x, just different pins...it should be fine, and i would do it aswell for sure if i would have a caanoo. Here is the info i sent to marc: I checked some info and it indeed looks like that you simply can use different pins and you are ready. Instead of pin 21 it is 4 or 5(both possible). Instead of 24 it is 12 or 19 (both possible). Instead of 23 it is 14. Instead of 22 it is 13.
The pins are compared to my gp2x schematics!!"

-From firestarter schema(GP2X)------>Midi/piggy from Kitch-bent---> WIZ=Caanoo EXT port(info from firestarter)

Pin 21> possitve power-------->Green = Pin 4 -----------------------> Pin 4 or 5
Pin 22>RXD-------------------->Brun  = Pin 3 -----------------------> Pin 13
Pin 23>TXD-------------------->White = Pin 2 -----------------------> pin 14
Pin 24>Ground----------------->Black = pin 1 -----------------------> pin 12 or 19

I tried to like this but it does not work, i need your help.
Thanks you.
