You forgot what he did!

I'm sure a bunch went to Facebook groups like Chip=win but those aren't so easy to search. Such is life.

There are still plenty of resources and ways to socialize out there.

Meanwhile, Megaran is doing okay and as far as I know is free of STDs.

Game boys aren't suited to making sawtooth waves unless you use samples.

The Dan LeBatard Show. I don't put music on until work is over, usually.

Broken beat was already a thing.

But in seriousness, if you want to do Big Beat, do Big Beat. Being an individual and using a mindset (and gear) 20 years removed from the original means it's certain to take on a flavor of its own, and once that happens, it'll be called whatever people feel like calling it.

Why not?

For me, it was a combination of nostalgia and being in a certain place at a certain time. I stopped making MIDI+Synths music and learned trackers, finding I prefer the way trackers handle and display notes.

Choose one:

Use two pedals

only have the effect on one side

put it in send/return on a mixer

It's between this http://chipmusic.org/chunter/music/ordinary-day

You don't need permission to write a feature for open source software.

[noob]My dreamquest for Schism Tracker is a search bar in the samples screen for looking for samples in the HDD. Would that be possible?[/noob]

Possible? Yes. Did IT have it? No... so if you were to write one in yourself as a fork you'd have something that escapes from IT's look and feel.

Sorry about the DRY principle in action.

it is so close to impulse tracker, or maybe schism/impulse is the same software dunno.

It's not, as schism and other clones were written to create and edit the .IT format, the actual IT source was closed, see http://roartindon.blogspot.com/2014/10/ … art-3.html

Storlek has been in difficult times in several ways and probably could use some support.

An Edirol/Roland interface I've had since 2007 or so. It has  cheesy effects built in which I sometimes use to treble boost the guitars.
