It put him in the mood for some Mario or Duck Hunt or something... right...

Somebody cover the 8bc.org slide with an annotation. wink

I hope you don't mind me admitting that I find this statement uplifting in a personal way.

In a different incarnation of this thread...

My parents don't try to listen to my music anymore, the wedding was the most they heard of my music in years, or ever...

My wife doesn't like it when I experiment with funny noises, she prefers VSTs that already sound like "conventional" instruments. I look for a compromise of sorts, because that's the sound I prefer.

I had a great time and a better seat, I have a very hard time taking off on a holiday weekend.

You should've said something before I came up for the Indy 500, a feat that will probably never be repeated.

It depends on the kind of music you make, so keep experimenting. From the sounds of things, I suggest trying different encoders.  When I want to encode something quickly, I usually go with 192kbps mp3s, from 48Mhz 16-bit sample renderings.

These things happen, it's taste, just like you said. As I write this my own tastes are shifting, it happens to everyone.

You're supposed to put a crocodile clip on the terminal as a heat sink, but if you pop it you can always substitute an identical one.

A lot of the Famicompo guys appeared on there as well.. then I found out they were all on Ubiktune tongue

I was considering commenting that Fear of Dark was "discovered" through Famicompo (to me.)

Since this is going to bump the thread again I'm going to continue to insist that inviting people to cm.org will make more difference than anything else- you don't need approval to improve or adjust the sound of your own music.

Subconscious jealousy I think is the answer to this thread.

Failure to explore and embrace new sounds is the other. There is no magic bullet, just show us something we haven't heard before.

It wouldn't be quite that extreme would it?
More a matter of finding available/reliable venues within a certain area and then fitting the show dates and travel together like a puzzle.  One (or a few) artists and many venues "should" be simpler than MANY artists and one venue?  Maybe?

$$$FO' DOLLAZ & SUM BICHEZZZ$$$

Well, it'd only be one nights' performers but that was also a suggestion. Put the blip festival on tour!

What if the blip festival traveled? That should give a fair idea the logistics required.
