I love that people are doing this. I slapped some SNES buttons is a purple painted DMG last year. It all started when I realized a few years back NES buttons could be slapped into a DMG so I got curious with my SNES controller and turned out they fit too. So this triggered a whole series of questions by me and my band mate. What other buttons can we throw in there...and is it possible to have a joystick replace the dpad. So far I've managed to get Pocket buttons in a Color, very easy actually. I managed the SNES in a DMG, without having to file down or drill the buttons the purple one feels like its not pushing down when it really is but it is amazing to use if your a Tetris freak like I am..it helps with flipping the bricks over faster lol. PS1 and PS2 buttons in a DMG, I've filed them down a reattached the legs using Gorilla glue and it worked amazingly. And I'm currently working on getting a PS2 joystick top attached to a dpad so it looks like a legit joystick sticking out it. I've done some test runs but i have to figured out a way to more securely attach the joystick to the dpad. I'm thinking a screw or bolt and a very small washer may work. I just hollowed out the little O that's in the middle of a DMG style Dpad it was simple and is kinda fun to use with fighting games or Pokemon and Tetris of course. My goal is to make a DMG painted a modded to look like a classic arcade system.

My friend just sent me this, looks pretty interesting.....

Yea these things are sold on a website. Wish I could remember which.  And they also have them in a game store close to where I work from time to time. They sell them for about 80$ if memory serves me right. I've been debating on grabbing one for awhile now. I'd want to put a Super GameBoy in it and use LSDJ in it so I'm concerned with the sound quality which has been the main reason I haven't bought one. The people running the store won't let me open one and give it a test run.

You still have that Green Boy? I have a Nuby light and some other stuff laying around. I'll send you a list of trade offers if you still have it on you.

Okay guys up today is my GameBoy Pocket painted with Soundwave from the original 1980's Transformers cartoon series. On the front I've painted a little pinstriped wave. On the back is where Soundwave lays. There are some minor scuffs on the case as you can see in the pictures. There are NO missing pixels. Speaker is fully operational. Also I have a set of white buttons if you would like me to swap the grey one out for white. NO back light is installed and NO prosound. I was debating on White,Red, or Blue backlight and could never make up my mind so I figured I'd let the buyer decide when it gets to their house.

I'm looking for around $45 USD, was $55 USD, shipping not included, I am also looking for Trade Offers.

SOLD!!!

Front:

Back:

Newly Added: GameBoy Advance looking for around $25 USD, shipping not included, or Trades.
This thing is pretty much brand new. Has a slight scuff mark on the grey part by the power switch.
Brand new Screen with plastic protector still on it.

I am willing to mod the Start/Select to Left and Right bumpers for easier use with LSDJ for 10$ more. However this will make the ability to stretch the screen on DMG and Color games go away.
If you buy this Gameboy and want the mod done just let me know what bumper you want start to go to and same for select.

NES Boy: Looking for $160 or best offer. I will take trade Offers only if you think you may have some interesting stuff worth trading send offers my way.

Contained within:
-White Backlight/normal, with switch.
-RCA Gold Plated Prosound, for better sound quality
-1/8th inch Prosound, five inch black wire external for less feedback
-Pitch Shift located on right side
-Siren Style Power LED Top middle
-Nes Controller Buttons
-Nes Style Hand Painted paint job

Speaker still works.
Also thinking about adding a "Chipmusic in Stereo" screen.

Thank you for looking. xD

Note: Shipping isn't included on any items, but if you are really interested in buying I can get to the post office and see how much it will be to ship to your  house just let me know.

Just PM me if youre interested still. I have loads of free time I'm looking to fill. Also if you're interested in seeing what I do with gameboys art wise check out my devart page here: http://vexling.deviantart.com/

Uhmmm i could possibly give it a shot. I dabble in a little pixel art from time to time. I made my Avatar image from scratch using paint as an example. I could give it a shot possibly. I need a few ideas of what you might want in the picture though. Also if i could hear a track or two from the EP it might help.

Still looking for those pics xD

I has question about the silocons. You think you might do any solid colors like maybe colors to match the original colors of the DMG. Yellow, green, blue, white, red, and of course black. or maybe that pinkish color that the lettering on the black DMGs is and the original A B buttons? that would be pretty sick. Just curious

I second this notion.
