Re: Anyone still making custom gameboy Roms? (24 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
Wait so Logones is a program i can use?
And yes I would like to make a Custom Gameboy rom that just sits at a logo that Ive made or someone else makes for me.
Im looking for an artist that can make one for me and upload it so i may download it and load it into my 64mb cart and let it sit on the screen so i can take photos with my logo sitting on the screen.
Is that better explained as to what I want?

What kind of markers did you use? How about strenght of paint on dmg case? Btw. very nice work .
Im using just good old Sharpies found a set that had gold, bronze, and silver in it and using the bronze for the traces on the main board and used gold on the smaller headphone jack board...may go back over it with bronze. I am having a problem with it smearing a little from skin oils and i havent taken the time to go by some rubber gloves because this started off as a project to keep me busy for the first month of my new job to wait on money from my first two checks to send peoples shipments out. But ive really like how its been turning out. Only problem im running into now is what to do with the back case. I was originally going to do the entire case but painting this detail in grooves on the back will be a pain in the ass T_T
Edit: oh and to fix the smearing problem, when im done ill be clear coating it like a mother fucker!

What Ive been working on while I wait for my checks to come in from my good job so incan ship peoples orders. This is a work in progress. Im no where nesr done but I figured it was time to show it off.
Going with this color scheme.
-Blue Backlight from Kitsch
-Clear orange buttons including power switch and ext. cover from Loomis
-Rca jacks on the top right corner
What will be installed:
-3.5mm prosound
-1/4th prosound
-clear SS buttons from Kitsch with orange or blue leds behind them
-white leds behind dpad and AB
-power led hole filled sealed
-white led in power switch that will be the new power led
-And im hoping to half clock it.
-Clear screen cover
-clear battery cover with battery compartment lit woth orange or blue leds
Hope you guys like it
Edit: forgot my fave feature lol...
-custom cut "window" above the dpad that is filled with clear plastic to prevent dust from getting on the board but give you a peek inside. It lines up perfectly with the circuit im drawing on the case. And as you can see the backlight lights it just enough to see inside.

I tries blue and black like hes trying to. It made it darker eer so slightly but thats it. I think to get that smoke black he wants might try to find a dark grey rit and mix it with black or maybe blue. Ive really been meaning to get back into rit testing. Ive been wating a smoke black shell since day one. It would be nice to have a set recipe that is known to work for certain colors
