Atomic purple man. Both of them were. I used Krylon Xmetals Red. Put about 2 coats on the inside. Then on the outside around the buttons i sprayed a thick coat of blue and let it drip to look like blood a little. Theres a little blue splatter inside also that gives it a weird scabbed look. It looks a lot better in person than in a photo. I call it the Dead Boy in tribute to Dead Pool.
Heres the front:
Around the AB buttons it looks almost black and i made it look like it was dripping from the dpad. No clear coat need because this particular paint kinda soaks in like a dye. The dpad is black now btw, not grey.

Also Yellow was very cool too. Ive sold it though before i took pics. It was a local buyer request so no pics. It was years ago before I started documenting with photos. If i see him soon Ill snap a pic. Bright pink also looks very very cool.

And dont use a primer for painting inside unless you find a clear primer but even then id suggest not doing it. May add a weird tint or prevent the color from being as vibrant as it could be.

Sorry Toasty i cant tell you how its done man youll have to go through all the pain I did too lol. Heres a hint though..DO NOT use super glue..terrible results.
And Basspuddle, as for pricing thatll be up to the person these were made for, but I believe a price of around 40$ was spoken about. As for buying from me directly itll also be around 40$ unless you provide the case Ill do it for around 20$. Also down for deals of Ill send you one if my cases already clothed for a partial trade for a blank case from you, i typically knock off around 10$ if you send me a case as partial trade. However, if youre intetested, I am going to be backed up for about a month or so and Im only taking on special orders for close friends due to a huge order I just got. Best bet right now would be just wait for the person/s that will be selling these to post them for sale. I would tell you who this person/persons are but Im not sure if they are wanting to release whothey are yet and Ill leave that to them, respectively, to announce when ready.
Now for a recent test case Im working on..

Re: DMG all in one USB for power, sound and MIDI ... is it possible? (39 replies, posted in Nintendo Handhelds)
I say try it and document it very well step by step and then share it when youre ready. Im guessing itll work and it would be very very awesome if so. Only down side is it must always br plugged in to work. What would be more useful power wise would be an internal battery that you charge via usb..if you could find a small and strong enough battery pack to use. I do like this idea though keep us updated.

I might be selling it later on, if anyone is genuinely interested! Also I'm going to attempt a pokéballboy when all my packages arrive! Wish me luck! c;
Haha I too have been working on plans for a pokeball gameboy. Been debating on full case pokeball or a half and half of a pokeball and a pokemon. Had about 3-4 different sketch layouts on what I want to do.

Vex wrote:Little update on things ive been working on since Ive been gone. And yes the red gameboy color is suppose to have that paint running down it. I did that on purpose.
Remove the emo nosering and this is super secksy!
I personally dont know any "emo" people with a 4guage nose ring. And the ring is there so i can clip it to a ring on my belt.
PS: i tried to put a carabiner there but the angles wouldnt fit lol

this is my finished clear gameboy just going to change the screen cover to clear im taking vex's advice.
Oh yea man thats going to look amazing 100% clear. Love the white power led. Did you difuse it? Bet that bitch is bright as fuck if you didnt. Ive intalled a few green and blue power leds ad had to sand them to all hell because it made a bad glare on my my glasses and i could barely see te screen lol
