A user reminded me that Defle do not have SSG-EG control for the YM2612, so I added it, and it is correctly implemented with all 8 shapes, not as in VGMMM (you can hear that the shapes are the same 3 in Shiru's program, but actually there are 8).

Well, my mother has a new Toshiba notebook, and it has Hardware virtualization, maybe I can run a Mac VM there.

Bad, my CPU does not have the virtualization thing that requires MAC to run in a VM, and I don't have money to buy a MAC, so the Mac port is in stand by for now.

Oopps, yes, I removed the muting for the YM2612 due to a mistake. Touching the Emulator code is dangerous!. tongue Please re-download it!, it is fixed now. Thanks for the reporting this.

Wow this is very interesting.

I'm insane to clean DefleMask of bugs!, it should be stable and without surprises before adding more systems.

DefleMask 8 Update 8 Released!. Added one more octave to the SN76489 and fixed a bug in the WAVE Channel of Game Boy.

Linux version updated!, the roms exporting path was using "\" instead of "/" and that was creating very crazy filenames. So, those that are using Defle on Linux, update please!.

I invite you to the DefleMask's forums again, I added the Wavetables Macro thanks to your request, so you can point one by one what is the "bizarre" and "not very intuitive" things about the GUI, and maybe we can make DefleMask better one more time; also, could you please explain those "glitches" that you are suffering while editing FM Instruments? (because a similar issue was already fixed some months ago, and maybe you are reporting already fixed things).

For example, Sunvox is a sonovabitch to learn at first, but once you understand it it is a very fun and amazing environment to work with.

Is the same for DefleMask, I grantee that if a new user reads the manual completely and spend time using the tracker, he will realize that it is very easy to use. But well, many people usually close applications when they are not similar to what they were using, even without even reading the manual. A similar thing happened to Shiru with VGMMM.

We can continue this in DefleMask's Forum, if you want, to avoid mixing DefleMask and VGMMM here.

Well a user sent me a PM about the stop of Shiru's development, and I get to the FT forums and here, and I have to say this:

I never liked TFMMM/VGMMM, but something that seems strange to me is the release dates, and I think that now is the time to tell this because of the stopped development of TFMMM/VGMMM:
- TFM was released on year 2007 (With ONLY YM2612 support)
.. 4 years after
- DefleMask Beta 1 was released (16.05.11, with YMU759 support only)
... Rumors of Genesis Support in DefleMask arrived.
- VGMMM was released (22.06.11 Full Genesis Support)
- DefleMask 3.5 was released (29.08.11 Full Genesis Support)
...
...
...

The lack of Full Genesis in TFM and other things about the GUI and etc, actually inspired me to add Genesis to DefleMask in the beginning, and I think that the whispering that was running around about a possible Multi-System philosophy of DefleMask actually inspired Shiru to add PCM/SN76489 to TFM Music Maker. I could be wrong, but that dates list is suspicious.

Whatever, today, one year after the first DefleMask release, I have to thanks to Shiru for done TFMMM, I never liked it, and that was the reason why I added Full Genesis support to DefleMask.

I added a Waveform Viewer in the latest version, you could modify the color of that waveform by editing colors.ini of your sking and changing the RGB:
Waveform = 100,160,100 to any other value, RED is awesome too, Waveform = 255,0,0

Also you can change the background of that waveform viewer by editing backwaveform.png, among other textures.
