i prefer to use a guitar emulator over a real guitar.

i got fed up when i couldnt skip through the intro.

if you cover up the commodore thing and change it to nintendo 64 personal computer then people will be more interested.

naa i only have the HardSID Uplay, so emu only.

i love stereo goattracker heart

There are plenty of breakcore tutorials online, there isnt really that much of a difference from Chipbreak, other than your choice of VSTis. Just chuck a few Mario jumping sounds on a breakcore track and you have chipbreak! smile

If you are looking for breaks, there is a zip knocking around on the internet called 300 breaks, or 300 of the most essential breaks of all time or whatever.

jesus squarepusher is a boring fart. haha we didnt get tickets for his london 30 march 2013 date sad

the thing that mainly pisses me off about the guitar is that it doesnt save my chords sad

Ok, no more trolling. But it was kind of silly question.

Monotribe has no audio input so you cannot filter any other sounds. The main advantage is the possibility of keeping stuff in sync and/or external parameter control of (some) monotribe's knobs. And triggering it's notes / drums.

I know how the Monotribe works, I just wanted to know what can you do with LSDJ and monotribe at the same time. Does that mean that what you can do is actually just play both things in sync but separately?

its a synth with a basic step sequencer. you can sync each step to a signal from the game boy. thats about it really. its pretty flexable though.

the only thing that really pisses me off is the lack of decent playable keyboard.

agent x soundtrack is amazing. i love those fuzzy chords.

i like the GB sounds because of the clicking when you use volume envelopes and panning.

my favorite sound chip is is still the SID though really.

the nitro tutorial works perfectly. i'm making a lot of music with the sync'd gameboy/monotribe & fx set up at the moment and have used it for live improvisation a lot now.
