Just fyi, for fun, I have 2 friends who are epileptic and apparently color cycling type stuff is the least common of known triggers to trigger a seizure, yet it is the most commonly known one. Not sure if that's the truth though.

Anyway, I get where you're coming from. Personally, I'm into it.

I've been toying with the thought that at some point, all our knowledge of some old computers will mostly be based on slightly inaccurate emulators, which means that over a long period of time our ideas of what they were might change a lot. Especially machines that haven't been treated as well as the C64 when it comes to emulation. Many emulators already allow you to set up configurations that would have been impossible on the original machines. WinUAE and recent "classic" amiga software development springs to mind. In WinUAE, you can set the CPU emulation (and chipram and the blitter!) up to be as fast as the host computer can muster. A lot of new software (and whole OS distributions) take advantage of this to the point that they are useless even on the fastest real Amiga accelerators. Mplayer for 68k Amigas? Exists. Amigas that can run it? None, unless you like slideshows. Retro revisionism!

This is really interesting to me. Simply stating so is far from a useful contribution but, yeah... retro revisionism. Revisionism is scary. This is reminding me of 1984, the book. Though now my imagination is taking hold of the subject.

Battle Lava, if I came to Montreal, would there be a gig? I've been itching for more shows!

There could be- if I have enough time to plan it. Therefore, I need more details from you. Email me with specific summer dates you could play, where you expect to stay, and who in Montreal would you like to play with, and anything else.

come to montreal

So, this past friday I received an email from someone named Josh Studham, explaining to me that he has made a video for Untitled-37. I didn't know what to expect.

I found it to be a nice surprise. I personally really like it. So I decided to share it. I think it deserves some attention.

If you absolutely need a detachable cord, maybe try something like these Shures.  An engineer buddy of mine has those, and he likes them a lot.

theyre even cheaper here http://www.amazon.com/Shure-SRH440-Prof … amp;sr=8-2

these are the ones i use, http://www.amazon.com/Shure-SRH840-Prof … amp;sr=8-1

they're more expensive, and i haven't used the 440s, but if these are 840s they have to be 400 better right

the 440s are good too
