cheers guys. and sorry dexter it came out a little wrong. it didnt mean it so much within what you said on here but more in general with you. its a little hard to hold a convo when you tend to open convos with something negative (msn). work on that and ill be fine with you ^_^

and because it was just itunes i didnt really care about the art.

thanks

Thanks for that iLKke!

http://soundcloud.com/shirobon/testing- … ky-tracker

bare in mind im still in the learning progress but any tips/ advice would be great!
cheers

i agree, ableton warp streaching does do alot of damage!
'its the idea that counts, not the sound'
anywho!
i find with multitrack recording if you make a noise at the begging of each channel then line those up it should be fine!
also, put a bit of a gate on each channel for minimal noise smile

do you ever have anything nice to say dexter?

remember to roll of your low end so it issnt too muddy!

yeah it depends on the song, what i said was an example for dance stuff. i agree it should be raw but stuff enhancements could be nice!

For my recently LSDJ track i tend to record everything onto different channels (this includes the kicks and bass if they are on the same channel).
Then adding some eq and compression to the kick and some stereo eq to the bass and leads.
Then if its a 4 to the floor track i would side chain the leads slightly with the kick to have more of a bounce effect!
also a tad of reverb and filter delay on the leads.... PERFECT!

What about you guys? smile
