Piano for 12 years, drums/percussion for 5 years, guitar for 3 years, classical(mostly orchestral) composition for 4 years, and a whole bunch of musical theory stuff on my own time... I've only started to do chiptune stuff for a year now, so I am having a hard time getting the exact sound I want, but I will get there someday...

hey Justinthursday... If I want to get a custom DMG with the RGB backlight, do I have to pay for the normal backlight too?

idk... London... that's like 8 hours, by plane, from where I live... (Seattle/Tacoma FTW)... my suggestion is to find your nearest arcade or coffee shop... most wild chiptunists can be seen in hipster hangouts or other such venues... just watch online for other shows in London because the more you go to means the more people you will meet...

I suggest you check out someone named Zackery Wilson (google him)... he does a lot with 8bit and jazz... Its really cool... Also, some really popular game soundtracks are jazz and you may want to look back on those (Chrono Trigger, Sonic, etc.)
