Maybe its a problem with the prosound, when I had mine it never did that. Are you using nice shielded cables?

Nothing seems to be wrong with the pro sound or the cables. Just to rule out all possibilities, did yours have RCA or an 1/8 in ?

Hey everyone,

So I recently set up my home "studio" with 2 old tvs connected to 2 SNESs with Super Gameboy carts running LSDj. Both of the super gameboys are pro sound. The audio issue I'm having is that whenever I press start after the track has been paused there is a sharp 'popping' noise that spikes the volume in my headphones. It also happens every single time a K command is used or an E00 command is used.

I wanted to see if this is a fixable problem or if it is just the nature of the super gameboy / SNES / etc.

Thanks for the help!

I'm selling my Korg ER-1 drum machine. It is still in full working order, just has some cosmetic issues (minor scratches) and is missing 1 knob. Comes with power supply. I am asking for $140 (OBO)

PM me if interested,

Thanks!

Hi everyone, I'm purging a lot of music stuff and came across my first gameboy from when I started making chip music in '09. It was originally a stock grey boy that I modded and painted (poorly) myself. Just curious if anyone is interested in this artifact. PM me an offer if interested.

Specs: Green Backlight / Backlight Switch / Half Clock Switch / Prosound / Purple-Blue ish paint (now rubbing off due to wear and tear)

Thanks!

I've gotten my aboy successfully set up to send midi out data via lsdj. My question is: Is there any way to sync 2 instances of lsdj while also sending midi out (in this instance to a drum machine). I attempted this last night and it resulted in the slave gameboy glitching out / freezing.

Thanks!

I've been composing with LSDj for a while now, and I was thinking that it would be nice to not have to stare at tiny screens while composing at home, etc. I write all my music with two instances of LSDj synced and was considering buying two Super Gameboy 2s to run lsdj on two separate SNES consoles.

Just looking for general advice to see if this is worth the investment

-Will the two instances of lsdj sync correctly using the super gameboy's sync port ?
-Is there a sound difference / play back speed difference etc. when running LSDj on a SNES ?

Thanks !

Maybe I misunderstand what you are saying, but you must not rename the "lgptsav.dat" file.
You can only rename the directory which contain this file.

this... if it doesnt see the file it will create a new dat.

ah damn. Oh well, guess I learned my lesson. I'll just have to remake the track. Thanks though!

Hey everyone,

I recently started dabbling in making music in LGPT on a gp2x f100. On my SD card, I decided to change the name of my song's .dat file to something that wasn't "lgptnew". When I tried to load the song on the gp2x, it was empty. All of the samples loaded, but the song's structure/all of the tracking was blank. Any ideas on how I can fix this? / How should I go about changing file names in the future?

Thanks!

Is the ArduinoBoy updated with the latest version? Afaik when these were made the Arduinoboy didn't support midi out.

this too. To update the device youll need to pick up a ftdi cable.

Ah yeah, after talking to a friend about this as well the problem is definitely that. I will purchase a cable and go from there then. Thanks !

Hey guys,

I have a science guy arduinoboy and the Arduinoboy 4.7.3 LSDJ rom and I am attempting to use midi out from LSDJ to trigger individual drum samples from a Korg ER-1 drum machine. When using LSDJ as master or slave it syncs perfectly with the drum machine but I am having no luck using midi out to control individual drum sample playback. I've been reading all of the threads here on the subject but still achieving no success.

Thanks for the help!
