Next up will probably be vs a laptop and beat matching (ouch).
Saw Scotch Egg live, he lined up 5 DMG's he carried in a cheap santa hat, and he still played a pause between every song. He had one line-in cable (3.5 mm to RCA) and had to switch that cable into a new DMG everytime. Did a lot of cool stuff with it. Placing his booth on an extra table right into the middle of the audience, have them scream into the mic, unplug his cables the end of a song,...

I played at a drunk friend's house. Man, that house was drunk.

I need:
Link cable, I'm a beatmatch noob.
A new DMG WITH battery cover and FUNCTIONAL springs. + another lsdj cartridge
Light boy or desk lamp, I did it all cellphone lit, DIY as fuck.
RCA-cables, thank god they had some extra material with them.
Songs, totally forgot about songs.
Personal mixer isn't required, every venue has one.
Just plug the bastards in and mix with that volume button.
I'll have to get familiar witht them, though.

GBC unmodded pops with O command in all Chains,
looking for batteries to test it on my unmodded DMG to compare.
EDIT: pops significantly less than the DMG, really silent and bearable. The DMG made my one panning-like-crazy song almost disappear in the popping sounds.
One channel full of O-commands pops really silent on the Collor, in comparison.
Also, adding more channels with the same amount of O-commands adds more and louder popping, where the collor maintains the previous
level of popping.
EDIT EDIT: emulator (bgb) doens't seem to pop. I could be wrong. If you use the O-command to pan everything to the left, the popping is clear in the right speaker (GBcollor). My pc has built in speakers, which are really close to eachother, so maybe I can't notice the popping in the other speaker because the other is too loud. But I'd say no, no popping on emulator.
A live show with an emulator doesn't sound like a good idea IMO, my pc has a lot of hickups while running an emulator.

It's not really a problem to me, as the song sounds just fine. i just can't navigate trough screens for 1 chainlength.
Definitely pushing the processor limits.
Works fine on the GBC, although I use earplugs when working with it, because it's too silent. Damn that high-pitch buzz gives me headaches.

So uhm yeah
I've got this song that freezes up my DMG every time it hits a certain point. 3 instruments playing simultaneously + vibrato D9-ish + 180 bpm. It glitches up, doesn't respond to anything, but keeps playing like normal.
It made me wonder if this ever happened to any of you guys live. Glitching or just plain freezes, and what did/do you do?
