One of the big reasons for people sending their own donors is that as a US resident I don't have easy access to PAL cartridges, so overseas users would be able to have matching lockout chips.

What about retrousb.com? They sell MMC1 boards and all region lockout chips.

Can somebody bring a Super Gameboy for me to borrow?  We have to do a composition project for my theory class and I'm doing mine on gameboy.  Then we have to perform it, so I figure I could show what I'm doing better with a Super Gameboy.

EDIT:  Also super pumped!

If you get a hold of Carlson he could bring one for you to purchase, I'm guessing! He is on my facebook friends list if you're not already friends with him.

EDIT:  Also super pumped!

Please tell me "HN_i_C" stands for "Head Nigga in Chip"

8Static is coming of age! For our Sweet 16 (ok, 16th show; not year), we’re taking a look at the super-high-tech world of 16bit consoles and their DOS brethren.

Music by Mark DeNardo, OxygenStar and Philadelphia’s own Animal Style with visuals by VBLANK. And dust off those OPL chips and DOS trackers for our monthly open mic!

Before the show, we’ll be seeing some work from the demoscene with Stephen Whittam, a.k.a. “Inspired Chaos.” The demoscene is a community built upon groups of programmers, musicians, and artists who create stylish audio/visual ‘demos’ to flaunt their skills and make their mark at one of many ‘demoparties’ that occur across the globe each year. IC will show how far things have come since the days when information moved at the speed of a copied floppy disk.

GOD NO! WHY!? WHY WOULD YOU WANT THIS! FUCK YOU!

Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns and Roses

Please, do a good job. It all hinges on the opening guitar part. If you fuck that up, you're done.

If there are already covers of this song, post them. Warning: if they are bullshit I will be upset.

From the readme:

logoNES is created with the VJ / visualist in mind. It allows you
to scroll static screens in different directions, as well as color
cycle the palette for simple animation effects. This is useful for
making and displaying of logos and other static images that you
want to display with an NES.

Grab it here:
