If I can pull up some of my repressed memories, I will share my horrible experiences with promoters. Everyone else, do the same.

Tomorrow is gonna be out of control. 8static + Geekadelphia + new big ass subwoofers and bright ass projector + awesome musicians and visuals + Mad Gear back selling tons of retro/import games =

They're excited over at Geekadelphia, too:

Remember, the pre-show starts promptly at 7pm! Followed by open mic! Then Chipocrite, Ro-Bear, and minusbaby! Visuals all night by enso! Fucking be there!

There are currently two trademarks for "hot mess", one is in shoes and the other is in tanning products.

Haha, I had to google that:

Very excited for this! And I don't say that in any old thread! I mean it!

Each month 8static features an open mic and visuals session where you can show off your best new stuff. Bring your 1/8th inch output-able audio device or your RCA output-able video device, plug in, and rock out.

Live stream?

Always! The only times we don't do it is when the wifi is down there - but that shouldn't be happening anymore!

Good stuff!

Good timing: SEPTA just canceled all Philly buses, trains, and trolleys. F U SNOW!

Sorry to say, but 8static is canceled for February 6th!

All three musical acts have members from NYC, which presents a big transportation issue. More importantly, you all know that 8static is totally DIY - and bringing a sound system and drum kit from unplowed South and Northeast Philly is almost impossible right now! All scheduled artists from this month will be worked into lineups for the next few months, so you’ll see them soon!

Now, for some good news - we were going to announce this tonight at the show, so here goes: On March 13th we are having a totally free 8static! That’s right, FREE! Bring all your friends who are new to chip and/or too cheap to usually show up! Consider it our way of saying THANK YOU for your continued support of 8static and our extremely successful Kickstarter campaign (which isn’t over yet, hint hint). We’re gonna have our new sound system and projector ready to go for this special event! This show will feature minusbaby from NYC, and Philly’s own Ro-Bear, Chipocrite, and enso! Our pre-show event will be a really cool thing hosted by Geekadelphia that I can’t talk about yet! More info on that soon!

I don't even have a Game Boy, but that shit looks so good it makes me want one! Damn my deep rooted consumer urges!
