Re: “MODIFYING A FAMICOM KEYBOARD TO WORK WITH THE NES” (7 replies, posted in Nintendo Consoles)
Batsly Adams has done a lot of work with the Arduino and the NES. Talk to him first. It may be easier just to use an Arduino to interface with an actual modern existing keyboard or input device, rather than the Famicom keyboard. I know that would be cool and all, but the availability of cheaper stuff that more people have access to may be a better idea.

Here's an amazing tool for anyone interested in making NES graphics - a NAM/CHR flash editor by NO CARRIER & Batsly Adams. It's basically everything you've ever wished YY-CHR could do.

Still very much a WIP. Feel free to use it, but it may change / disappear at any time. Soon enough it'll be complete and up on the Playpower site.
Enjoy!

NO CARRIER wrote:Yes! I love seeing n00bs pwned by the Japanese year after year!
Woots? this is not really true. Atleast in ORIGINAL section in the last few years. Actually there are more noobs (ppl not from japan XD) in TOP 10. If you mean just the first place in original/cover, your probably right, but if you look at the top 10, you will noticed many "n00bs" in the last compos (specially the last 4).
Hope this year many ppl participe and we can have fun listen to the tracks, like all the last years!.
Yeah, I know! I was just trolling. However, I know at least one n00b that is gonna be pwned...

Topic: WTB: Animal Crossing for DS (1 replies, posted in Trading Post)
Had a copy, bought a flash cart, gave it to a friend. Can't use my flash cart on my 3DS.
I know someone out there has to have a copy of Animal Crossing that they don't want anymore. Sell that shit to me, cheap. Please.
Thanks!
PS - Here's a badly photoshopped image I just made of an Animal Crossing character getting stoned. This is just to show you how much I love this game.

Topic: NYC and Boston - Learn techniques from the dub masters! (7 replies, posted in General Discussion)
Hey, all:
Just a heads up, if you are in NYC or Boston, check out: http://www.dubinvasion.net/
There are free lectures/workshops in both cities by Adrian Sherwood, Mad Professor, and more!
I know this isn't "chip related", but I'm sure there are tons of people in here that would wanna learn about some of the techniques of these dub masters.
Cheers!

Amazing new iOS puzzle game: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/radballs 04338?mt=8
Seriously slick looking graphics! And the mechanics are intuitive / controls responsive. Unreleased Neil Voss tunes, Misfit Chris tunes, and remixes. You can even upload your own music, which the game syncs to (and allows you to scratch).
Highly recommended!!! Love seeing chip scene br0s killing it with sweet apps
