And obviously I have no say or control over what anybody does with any lineup apart from the gigs I'm organizing. Perhaps I'm being idealistic about the whole thing.

I think it would be nice if each line up was different considering how many musicians are in town for such a limited time. Because I guarantee there are more than enough people coming to fill up every bill. But I've been given the distinct impression in the past that this is an unpopular sentiment. Nobody really seems to understand why I think this is a good idea.

Hey, you Boston kids really need to step up.

But apparently I'm saying it TWICE for emphasis.

Josh, what we're planning is a concert on Sunday beginning in the early evening and the annual after party will, as usual, go all night and be a dance party in either a loft or basement space. We'll either be doing the after party on the Saturday night after Blip or Sunday night after our concert. If it happens on Saturday it'll be 2 - 6AM. If it happens on Sunday it will probably be 12-4AM

And that's all I'm saying!

Damn it, I've missed another meme.

But I imagine "banging smang" is something similar to what Sabrepulse and I call "tapping scuff."

natty, how do you feel about BRQFST (baroquefast)

Actually, BRQFST stands for Baroque Festival. It's a celebration of chiptune...you guessed it... BAROQUE MUUUUUUSIIIIIICCCCCC!

Trust the New York City chip promoter crews like you would a harmless cuddly bunny that also happens to be an expert professor of booking shows. We know what we're doing and we won't let you down.

Also - someone (not me) should rent a diner for a massive post-blip pancake BRKFST.

Hey guys. It's my birthday thread and I'm a vegetarian so I'm afraid we'll all be eating tofu Bahn Mi.

Hey Facundo, thanks for starting this.

As facundo has correctly said, after party / auxiliary gigs are already in the planning stages. The usual suspects are involved, including myself and Ian Cofre. The Cheese and Beer crew are clearly also hard at work and I wouldn't be surprised if i/O is scheming away. The important thing is that we are coordinating our plans carefully so as not to fuck anything up. And we all have wonderful ideas and surprises.

I can only speak for myself here but I'd appreciate it if people didn't immediately bombard me with emails asking to play. The annual late-night dance party is very specifically curated and, if you know me and Ian, you know that we usually invite people who have played Blip Festivals in the past and have made our legs sore from dancing.

Other gigs/open mics/ ice cream socials are being planned and I'm only directly involved in one of them, which has a very strict specific criteria for performers. We'll contact YOU if you fit that ONE criteria. Feel free to guess but I ain't saying another word. Except this: "sex."

Also - my original post should say "Facundo getting Facundoed." Sometimes I forget he has his own adjective.
