cut the old chips out.. then use your soldering iron to heat up a bunch of solder on one side of the cut legs and pull them out.
Desoldering wik or solder sucker plunger should do the rest for clearing out the holes.

I'm spoiled and use one of these: Makes life much easier.

Uploaded pictures from the show.. Shot by my friend Lizzy.
I hope to have some video up soon as well.

If you're interested, I have this book and want to sell it. It's going for $14 all around the internet, so something like that + ship and it's yours. Like Logan said, it's a really great resource for beginners, not to mention a great reference.

i highly recommend this book to beginners.

i'm trying to decide what track to do. so many good ones to chose from .

i am not a fan of the Poly800... if my memory serves me correct it's not even analog.

as for the mono/poly. Love it . own one myself. :-D it's my flag ship for analog synths.

But i'm talking for buying brand new... hands down.. DSI is the best route.

Big thanks to those who turned out.

I'm working on a facebook page and website at the moment as well..

A little info on what Short Circuit is:
Short Circuit is a monthly electronic music event. show casing local and out of state talent.
Every 3rd Saturday ( 6pm ) we meet up at Shuga Records in Nord East Minneapolis for some good times!
Our goal is to get the people out of the woodwork and to solidify the chip, bending and other forms of electronic music genre's in the area.
Something you can depend on every month!

The show's are always free and open to all ages. And you can shop through one of the largest vinyl retailers in the country.
I hope to host some workshops for Short Circuit as well! So it should double as a great source for entertainment and something a little
educational as well.

Please help us spread the word about Short Circuit in the midwest. Befriend us on myspace! and Follow on Twitter!
Always open to having people come in and play! If you're interested in getting on
one of the line ups feel free to email me:
