Meh...
I wouldn't think i deserve any form of award. many others who deserve it more.
Guess i didn't feel that a compilation cd was above all releases in 2009.

I'd say "J Arthur Keenes Band - Pamplemousse" should have won, for simply originality and song composition.
He's pushing chip/8bit into a much needed new direction.

I'll eat my own words though.. having a comp cd win best release is the closest to having "everyone" win as possible.
Although i dont feel my track should have added to it's winning. my set was pure shit. But what ev's.

Pause, hands down, probably has the best Label with releases happening right now in my opinion as well. Not to talk down 8bp's. Love the tunes,
i just think Pause would be more likely to turn down a record submission from a returning artists if they didn't like it. And  the releases
i've heard in the last 13 months from Pause have been top notch!

Glad the show/award ceremony went well!

Must say, a lot of those awards were pretty predictable,

I'd say most of the winners and nominee's were predictable *coughs* mostly 8bp affiliated*coughs* .. but i will keep things positive. wink
It's an east coast thing... In the midwest, everyone's a winner!

Wish i could attend more pulsewaves. Will try to make it out for at least 1 this year.

I'm not going to CAX this year so this would be a nice alternative.

Perhaps! Some of my seminary buddies are going to come, so of my friends it'd be me and probably 3 other guys, but there's no reason we couldn't do more.

my guess is that that USB headphone amp will probably not drive much for very long. given the fact that it's a single rail 5 volt supply.

the CMOY is a +/- 9V supply which will/should give you more headroom, and more driving power.

Ii'm going to order one of the built units only to save on time. The circuit in realty would only cost you about $8 to make but you get a printed circuit board which saves time.
But $20 w/ chassis is stupid cheap. no clue who they're making money on it. but oh well.. When i get one i'll give it a listen to see how i like it.. and report back to this thread.

I think when we can finally get together and sit down to breadboard out a video output solution we'll be able to move quickly on that Tony!
i am very excited for this!
