I suggest opening the keyboard before you even begin to see if the pcb has its wires marked, trust me, its worth it!

Everyone seems to keep having problems with their keyboards.
I have one that I am not completely done painting yet so I don't have every key back in place but so far everything seems to be working great.

plus, I opened it up and the pcb had the wires marked with which one was what which made my job of soldering the wires MUCH MUCH easier.

telerophon, how exactly do you go about painting your boards?
leave the keys on and spray it like that, or like I did with my first one:
take all the keys off and paint them the colors you want.
doing that way got good results but is painful and taking forever, because of paint getting where I don't want it and then having to scrape it off in certain places to make the keys function well

I also play the native american flute and it sounds AWESOME played through some of the delays and reverbs on KP3
