Here's the song I didn't complete on time. tongue

At some point I'll probably still finish it and do something neat with it.

Okay, now I know what it does and I'm rather excited.

Note: Those pins include vertical and horizontal sync and the two LCD data pins.

Video out is actually totally possible, though:

This is looking fantastic. Do you have any estimates yet about retail pricing yet?

Did some searching and didn't really find anything. Has anyone tried the derp cart with windows 10? Finally ordered one and I would love to use my laptop for backups and such. Just wanted to know if I should dust off the tower.

DnD works by emulating a standard file system. It works with nearly any OS that supports USB. I've found nothing that it doesn't work with. Windows, including Windows 10, Linux, Android, OS X, Plan 9. All works painlessly.

Wine might not work but a VM almost certainly would. Of course, it's a rather heavy-handed solution but might be worthwhile if you want to get going quickly.

Is this what you call MIDI OUT:
"maxYMiser  constantly  outputs MIDI clock pulses, and Sync24 clock pulses during
playback" ?

No, that's _not_ what I mean. Seriously, download the latest version:

v1.33a     312Kb     International Workers Day special edition - MIDI note output, improved disk error handling, usability improvements

Really?
How do you do this?
I can setup the channel on each instrument, but I thought it was only for the MIDI IN ?

sorry, it wasn't clear. I meant:  You can enter notes into MaxYMiser by using a MIDI keyboard, but you won't be able to play back midi sequence from maxymiser to the midi keyboard.

No, trust me, it does have MIDI OUT support so you can sequence external equipment.

If the volume value for that channel is at the highest (3) then the best thing to do is to lower the volume of the other instruments.

1 ms, do you really need that much precision for your midi recordings?

MaxYMiser does have MIDI support but can only sequence a limited number of channels (though it can do it on top of sequencing the internal chip).
