sletchman3 does some uke stuff aswell iirc
Yeah, just OHC stuff. I haven't done a proper uke+gameboy thing yet (i used lsdj kits as a drum machine for a cover of a chibitech song once. It's on soundcloud blahblah, etc, etc) Working on it though...
Here is my latest reaction to chipmusic:
"8bit sounds like sh** Sorry :\ "
This is my favorite version of that blue-haired girl yet
XP 4 Life
Edit: Sad cuz i got no sound. I'll have to try it in Chrome and see if it'll work there.
The track you posted here didn't really impress me that much. it feels you guys are comfortable in your sound and I really respect that! It fit well together.
Your other track, the one you posted on SoundCloud, was the one I really enjoyed. Very nice start I would say, keep it up :^]
+1
Finally got around to checking out your other song. Yes. Yes.
Yes. Big <3s. I have been waiting for someone like you all to come around.
I'm looking forward to more.
Sure you can use "bubbly blips" to your heart's content, lol. It stood out to me because it reminded me of a duty-cycle/arpeggio trick that I hear in NES and Gameboy chipmusic a lot
And yeah, you can do A LOT with just 4 channels, so I know it can be a challenge to keep it basic and not fill the mix with tons of flourish,
I'll be sure to check out your other music.
Nice vocalist. I like the "bubbly blips" effect she does on her voice @ 2:00 Dunno if it was intended to that way, but that's how I heard it, lol.
Lyrics, programming, and "chip sounds" are a bit too simple to me, and guitar is really honkin'... but... It's cool to see this kind of act going. Love the singer. I enjoyed it.
keepbitup
Edit: lyrics remind me of that episode of Might Morphin' Power Rangers with the band singing that "Confusion" song and hypnotizing everyone.
Got a strong feeling of illuminati, lol.
This was pretty interestng. I don't really know what to think, haha.
battleofthebits.org significantly absent
I'm struggling to see where this thread is about competing to become popular.
Whoever has their name mentioned the most by others wins.
So this is the final results round then. Gotcha.
*Goes back to enjoying life*

DICKHEADS.
I agree

How did i miss this.
I like it.
Not bad. I can feel the heart in it
Sound design could be a bit more involved (volume envelopes, vibrato, pitchbend, duty cycle changes, etc). Also, I would love to be able to hear the drums
I thought it was cool. I didn't think the transitions were bad. Music was a bit loud. Drowned out the low-key acting a bit. Didn't really have anything particularly innovative going on, but it was still neat.
You need to get your bits straight, though. I can only think of one 8-bit console that MAYBE might be capable of those graphics. "8-bit" label as an inappropriately used gimmick word is nauseating :\
2 Gameboys + 2 LSDJ Carts + Link Cable = 8 channels (or 10 if you count the duel soft-mixed sample channels)
