he called basically the spearhead of LSDJ sound design an amateur
if he had respect for the work he puts into the stuff, he wouldn't start off by saying he's an amateur haha. That's saying "I know he tries hard but he still sounds like some whack-ass noob".
Pretty sure this guy mentioned several times he wasn't looking for LSDJ/game boy artists
Also treyfrey is all right, but just a little amateurish, I'm looking for not so much of the straight game boy sound if that is possible, I respect all the work and everything that goes into it especially since I couldn't begin to comprehend it, but it's just not that exciting to me.
You guys all need to read shit,
he clearly states he has respect for all the work trey puts into his stuff and can't comprehend it, but he just doesn't enjoy it.
God I forgot about this piece of shit, pretty sure I still have it somewhere.
You mean the ROM? The game was never officially released. I dont know about the game play since I havent tried it out but from a technical point of view the game is very impressive.
Hm. Bumping this to ask a related question that I don't think requires a separate topic. Does anyone know of any Gameboy game soundtracks that made heavy use (abuse?) of WAVE channel manipulation like many LSDJ users (LSDJs?) do? Like, most of what I've heard in the games I've played was NES triangle bass emulation. Not a whole lot of technical stuff going on in the Wave channel.
I don't think I've really ever heard much wav manipulation from a game either now that I think about it,
Pokemon Gold&Silver had some minor stuff going at some parts though I believe.
lol so you're saying he bought one of the carts from Kitsch that was clearly listed as not working and in need of repair?
Nuclace... was this a working cart? or did you just purchase it from Kitsch?
Bought it from Kitsch,
I'm just seeing what you guys might think is wrong with it so I can fix it,
I don't know how to troubleshoot these things.
The other one I got that's glitching is WAY worse, it's just giving me 2 huge lines so I figured it's probably a lost cause, I just figured this one may be a simple fix since it's bringing the logo on the screen.
