i donĀ“t dislike the tracks but they don't really draw me in maybe because they are a bit slow to my taste tongue. i do like the melody of Assolutumente
maybe you could try to work more with build-ups?

@wandering genie
i actually tried that but the result was ......... not that good
i did go very much over the top with that experiment. if you want i can send it to you. but it's mainly a experiment and i didn't complete any part of it

i am playing with the idea to let 12 different people put a,b,c,d,e,f,g,a,b in a random order creating 12 different sequences  and let a 13 person decide the order of using them. creating a melody completely out of any scale or wat else big_smile

hey my name a Mark and i recently started using KurKami as my nickname (i misspelled KuroKami as ign name once and it kinda sticked) i'm currently 19 years old

i've been playing classical music as a child (first accordeon then Piano) and started composing on my 12th or something (shitty stuff of course tongue) then as i grow older i started listening hardcore and later different kind of music (dubstep, drum and bass, idm, Nu Jazz, metal, modrern classical, chiptune, 8bit and lots of stuff in between)

the first chiptune alike song i heard was when my brother made me listen to Slagsmalsklubben witch i instantly loved. Then a year later someone said hey you should listen to unicron kid so i did. via via via i then found Henry Home sweet and fell completely in love with the genre.

By change i stumbled on a stumbled on a song from him made in Famitracker with the file in it. After many failed attempts of finding a music system i understood (as i was used to classical notation that was hard) i finally found something i liked to use with a professional example. since then i'm making tracks when i feel like it

I mainly use a very chaotic style of composing as i randomly switch between parts and like achromatic music very much but lately i'm trying to make that less.

1.press the module tab
2.press module properties
3. chose a expansion chip to your liking (i like konami VRC6 the most)

@Defiantsystem
as Auxcide already said i indeed throwed some major+minor chords together or used a major chord when it should be minor on the Scale

i used to compose modern classic music while mainly using the 12-note system of Schoenberg as basis so i don't really notice when a chord isn't on the base scale tongue

btw is it common to introduce yourself in some topic when you sing up as musician?

Hey there

I'm KurKami and just up lauded my first 2 tracks on this site

1.Overdrive   http://chipmusic.org/kurkami/music/overdrive
a track i made few weeks back as introduction

2. Something Summer      http://chipmusic.org/kurkami/music/something-summer

i would love to get some CC on this seeing as i'm new to this community.

i'm most interested on feedback of the middle part of Something Summer  as i LOVEEE to make things like that in my numbers (this time i held back) but i want to know if it is appreciated here (so i know to up laud those tracks or not)
