I was pretty upset that I could see who posted what track. There is not really a hint of anonymity involved here... which is a BIG turn-off for me.
People tend to pick favorites... that's just human nature, I suppose. When I was voting I kept the theme and the composition into consideration. I am not pointing fingers... but, keep the guidelines into consideration when voting. This is going to come off fucked up... but I NEEDED to get it off my chest. I took a look at the last compo. earlier and I was thinking to myself... "REALLY?!!! And this got a vote...why?"
On the other hand... there were a couple of people who CLEARLY embraced the challenge to the fullest...and they got proper recognition in my opinion. I want to continue participating because I NEED things of this nature right now to combat some pretty serious writers block/ambition. I'm just bummed about the ANONYMOUS thing...that's all.

Also... if you haven't already... check out the OHC's that the BOTB crew comes up with from time to time. Beyond sample pack madness, there are always fun themes and sometimes super-fun limitations set for said challenges.

Let me know if anyone has any questions as well as any names of programs that are similar to LSDJ as I'm all for broadening the amount of mediums for people to use for these.
W/the right samples...and honest channel limitation LGPT,Milky,Modplug... to name a few... would work just fine.

I wonder if the "thumb" count will get larger if the number or participants grows as well? Or, maybe there is a cap of sorts... HOPEFULLY we'll find out in the future. This was pretty damn fun. I'll participate again. GET ABSURD WITH THE THEMES!!!

Jredd won by default. Maybe we'll get a better turn out when #5 starts next week.
I'll ACTUALLY participate in the next one. As far as getting more people in on it... I MAY be able to help.

Like the law code of Hammurabi, the Torah assigns the death penalty to practitioners of certain forms of witchcraft/divination; the Holiness Code of Leviticus ascribes the death penalty for two of the three necromantic practices, namely Ba'al ob and Yidde'oni, while the Covenant Code of Exodus ascribes it for kashaph.
